You're trembling, knowing this won't end well. You gulp, gathering courage to speak.
"What did you want to play?"
He releases you once more putting his hand on his chin and looking at the floor, as if he were thinking. He looks back at you with a grin.
"I'm thinking a game of hide and seek," while he's still smiling, his words are laced with malice.
"W-what's the catch?"
He laughs, his volume causing your very core to shake.
"Clever girl~" he crouches down, his face now level with yours, "The catch is- if I catch you, something very bad will happen, simple?" You can feel hot air come from his mouth. Your breath is rancid, you think to yourself.
Tears build in your eyes. You didn't want to die. You had so much you wanted to do, so much yet to experience in life. His smile fades, his expression turning sour.
"Stop it. You can't guilt me." He straightens his posture. "If you want to live, I suggest you hide. And if you try anything, I'll hurt you, and I know you wouldn't like the punishments I have in mind." He covers his eyes, "I'm counting to thirty."
You take off sprinting through the building. You spot an old arcade machine with the back torn off, exposing loose wires. It must've been gutted for parts or something. You hurry to crawl inside, covering the entrance with the wires. You could hardly see through them, so you relied on your ears to survive.
"Where are you~"
You check your phone to see how much longer your stay in hell will be.
12:14am, Thursday. I'm gonna die in here..
You shake your head, mentally slapping yourself. Get it together Y/n, you can outrun this thing. He's big and bulky, which means he's slow. You're small and fast. It's like Tom and Jerry with an animatronic rabbit.
Suddenly you have an idea. If you had to move spots, you could set an alarm on your phone to go off after you've moved.
"Oh, wherever could she be?"
Oh fuck.
He's right outside your room.
How could he be here so soon?! I never even heard him come in! You're thoughts silenced by the killer robot outside your hiding spot.
"I know you're near. Your fear is practically radiating off of you," he stops.
"You won't survive long, so how about this.."
Suddenly, the wires concealing you are ripped out, revealing your spot. A hand reaches inside, grabbing you by the hair and throwing you out of the machine. You could feel your hair being ripped out of your scalp. You hear him groan behind you.
"You're awful at this, you know.."
You look up, Springtrap a skyscraper compared to your quivering form.
"I'll give you three chances. If you lose the third time, I'll kill you. This was strike one," his silver eyes seem to sparkle with murderous intent.
"Hide."
You once again run, but this time you have a trick.
You set the alarm on your phone for three minutes. You leave it in the box of spare parts in your office, since it was big enough to hold you. You stuff the phone deep under the randomized pieces of the past. You can hear him counting louder.
"15... 16... 17..." the time drains. You quickly crawl into the vent, going as fast as your hands and knees could go without giving away your location. You turn left, coming out in a random hallway. There were boxes in the far corner, maybe you could hide in those?
You take off the lid of the biggest box, climbing silently inside. While putting the lid on, you see a lock inside, also spotting two metal pieces to connect. You lock the lid to the main part, also locking yourself inside in the process.
You didn't care, you just needed to sit and wait until somebody came in the morning. The box was made of a sturdy wood, but not soundproof. When morning came, you could just scream and wait for an employee to hear you.
You hear humming from outside the crate. You could tell Springtrap was in another room, but you were still trembling in fear. You check your watch for the time.
12:18am. Your phone should go off in about two minutes.
"Oh security guard, where are you~"
"You ain't touchin my buns, hun," you murmur to yourself. You wrap your arms around your legs and rest your head on your knees. You believe you're safe for a while, considering the alarm and the lock on the crate.
Ok, look. You're scared, but this is still you're second strike. Besides, there's no way he can break through the wood, and it's most likely too heavy to move, so you're safe until 6am. You sigh, getting as comfortable as you could, being locked in a wooden box after all.
You sit for a while, listening closely for movement. Uneven footsteps, down the hall. You ball your hands, still remaining silent. Something snaps in you. I won't let him win.
The quiet thumping of metal feet are getting closer. You expect him to find you, then there's an echo through the halls.
SO NO ONE TOLD YA LIFE WAS GONNA BE THIS WAYY *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*
The feet stop and begin running to the office, still quiet. A few moments later, you hear thrashing from another room, most likely from him searching the office. Relief washes over you, then realization. The garbage bunny's movements in the office sounded aggressive, and somewhat frantic. You hear a loud growl from the office.
"It isn't fair to play tricks!!"
*Crack!*
Damnit, he must've broken your phone. His tone was sinister, making you shiver. This isn't good.. You assume you are now on strike three.
Even though you were most likely dead when he got into your box, you weren't going to let his threats and taunts get to you. You refuse to be scared of him.
There's a lot of scraping and banging outside. Is he really throwing a tantrum? You check your watch, again.
12:28am. At least time is still moving.
You relax in the large crate, being careful not to make any noise. Springtrap chuckles from a couple rooms over.
"You're better than had I expected after last round. You must admit, an arcade machine was different, but painfully obvious in this place," his voice seems calmer now, but he was unpredictable, so you couldn't take any chances.
"It seems as though we're going to be here for a while, so I don't mind filling the silence."
"I wasn't always like this, you know," his deep british disappeared, replaced by a not so deep honeyed voice.
"A very long time ago, before you were even thought of, there was a place called Fredbear's Family Diner," he sighs, "It was quite a grand place you see. Kiddies running around, parents chatting and enjoying themselves. The food was... adequate, but everyone loved it nonetheless."
"But my favorite part was the show me and my dearest friend put on. I loved every second of it." His voice seemed reminiscent. You have to admit, you were interested in hearing story.
