Mike P.O.V.
I slap my alarm, laying back down for a second. For a Saturday, it sure feels like a Monday. I get up and walk to my door, looking around my messy room.
"I'll just... clean it later." The door clicks shut and I walk to the kitchen. I turn on the coffee machine and yawn as it bubbles and chokes before pouring into my cup. The coffee burns my tongue, but I don't care.
I plop onto the couch and turn on the news. Luckily, I don't see anything on Y/n. I wonder if her dad is her only family. Surely not, there must be a grandparent, sibling, aunt, something.
*knock knock*
My brow scrunches as I open the door, finding a man, maybe in his late 40s. His face is wrinkled with worry, and his features are slightly familiar.
"Can I help you?"
"Are you Mike Schmidt?" He squints at me.
"Who's asking?" He glares at me.
"D/n L/n, and I'd like to know why I haven't heard from a word from my daughter all week." My face pales a bit. I know the news will hurt him, and I shouldn't lie to her father. I step out of the way and open the door for him.
"Would you like to come in to talk about it, sir?" I offer, and he reluctantly accepts. I lead him to the dining room table and take a seat across the table from him. "Sorry about the mess, I've been a bit busy."
"So, what happened to her?" He asks again, and I sigh.
"If I'm honest, I have no idea, sir. She was doing her usual shift when I get a call saying the attraction was burnt to the ground, with no trace of her anywhere. I didn't tell them about her, to avoid media."
"If the media knew, people would know to look for her," he growls.
"Look, I gave an old friend a call. She's the best detective I know. She'll be here tomorrow morning."
"We can't wait that long!" He raises his voice, not quite yelling yet.
"Well, we're going to have to Mr. L/n. I understand your worried about your daughter, but I promise my partner will find her." He scoffs at me.
"If this detective is so good, what's her name?"
"Jayme Friemuth," I state, and he nods.
"Well, is there anything I can do to help?"
"Perhaps staying at her house and seeing if she'll return is a good idea," I suggest. We exchange numbers, and I show him out before taking my phone and calling my friend.
Y/n P.O.V
"No Honeybun, I'm not getting out of bed."
"Why noooot! I'm bored and you're sad," they whine.
"All the more reason to stay in bed." You turn away from them and pull the covers over your head.
"Hun, you need sunlight," they sigh as they walk to the window.
"The only thing I need is sleep," you grumble as the rabbit throws open your curtains, exposing your room to the sunlight. You hiss and they scoff. "I told you, I'm not in the mood today.." They stare at you for a bit, then walk over and sit next to you on the bed. The bed creaks under their weight.
"Listen, I know I have no clue what's wrong, and I know you probably won't tell me, but what I do know is that a little fresh air never hurt nobody." They pets down your arm, somehow soothing you, and you sigh.
"Today's Saturday. I was supposed to meet my dad today for lunch to finally show him how capable I am," you explain, and they hum. "But then all, this, happened..." You gesture with a hand to your room.
"Oh Y/n, you're plenty capable! Even if you weren't, I bet you're dad would love you either way," they smile at you, and you return it. "Would you like to eat lunch with me instead, sugar?" You nod, and they carefully pick you up, blankets and all, taking you to the couch.
"Oh!" They exclaim as they set you down, "I almost forgot! I was digging through the attic when I found something neat I thought you might like!" They limp off to their bedroom. You can even hear a small 'aha!' as they find it. Honeybun comes back in and presents a toy about 3 feet tall. It looks similar to the bunny holding it.
"Narcissistic much?" you snort, and they pout.
"Rude. It looks like it's supposed to move, but I don't know how. There's no place to insert batteries," they say as they search the toy. It's got two rows of sharp teeth, and another two rows inside, which is strange for a kid's toy. They shake it side to side with a big smile and hand it to you. "Alrighty girlie, I gotta go get more food. Don't cause too much trouble~" They say as they take off out the door.
You look at the toy in your hands, studying it.

"I don't think this is a good idea..."
"Oh come on, it'll be fun!"
"Are you sure? What if she doesn't like us?"
"He's right, this is a bad idea Susie."
"Shut up, you're one to talk. Let's go Jeremy!"
"W-wait!"
~~~~~~
You set it on the ground up right and stare at it. It's kind of creepy, to be frank. The air gets noticeably colder. Then, something freezing touches your shoulders, making you flip around.
"Hi Y/n!" You're heart stops as you stare into the black and green eyes of a little ghost. You're about to scream, but you remember the little girl from your dream.
"S-Susie??" She lets go of your shoulders and shoots you some finger guns. "Sorry, I just didn't really recognize you. Am I seeing things?"
"Nope! I'm real, just dead. Oh, and this is my little buddy Jeremy!" She wraps an arm around another ghost you didn't notice before.
"H-hi, Y/n," Jeremy gives you a small wave and a nervous smile. He looks like the shy type, so you just wave back, giving him a warm smile. "Y-you're really p-pret-"
"Gabriel!! Come out here and say hi!!" Susie shouts, interrupting the boy. You hear a groan, followed by a tall ghost boy coming out from around the corner. His blue eyes pierce your skin, making you sweat.
"Gabriel, and you're Y/n," his voice is smooth yet firm. Why does everyone already know my name??
"Gabe stop, you're intimidating her." He looks at Susie, then back to you. He looks off to the side and mumbles an apology. "Well, who wants to have some fun?"
------------------------------------------------------------
First, I would like to apologize for not updating sooner. As some of you may know, I've been pretty busy with things, and sadly this book isn't one of of top priorities. I'm also writing a special chapter for when I hit 100 followers too, which won't be important to the story, just some fluff or something.
I kinda want to do a Q&A with the characters, but I doubt think I'd get very many questions. If I get enough on this chapter I will though! I'll make drawings for them, so you'll see how they look in the story! You can ask anything as long as the answer won't be a spoiler! ^v^
Characters: Mike, William Afton, Spring Bonnie, Fritz, Susie, Gabriel, Jeremy, Vanessa.
Make sure you pay attention to my announcements for occasional news on the story! I love you all so much!! <333
