You sit quietly, then turn on the flashlight, catching the toy halfway down the hall. You turn it back off and listen more. Eventually you stop it on the designated spot.

"I win."

The toy growls and walks back to the end of the hall. You watch as it sits down, then turn off the flashlight for the hundredth time. The silence seems to last longer this time, but you listen for movement. Suddenly, your ears barely pick up a scampering sound which catches you off guard. You turn on the flashlight to just barely see it duck into Springtrap's bedroom. You turn and look at the boys behind you, who apparently have nothing better to do.

"Is that allowed?" Gabriel shrugs, keeping his arms crossed.

"There's no rule against it," he replies, and you pout, but don't complain. You turn the light off and listen for any more noise. You hear more quick movement, and your light shows the toy in the hall again. You can't help but scowl at the toy before turning the light off.

"I hate this," you grumble, making the orange ghost scoff.

"This is all your fault anyways. You let Susie become a fucking battery for crying out loud," he snaps, but Jeremy puts a hand on your shoulder reassuringly.

"Don't listen to him Y/n, you didn't know. Just try and think of a way to get Susie out." He gives you a nervous smile, and you smile back at him. For such a nervous kid, he sure knows how to make other people feel better. You nod and turn back to the game, thinking of a way to get her out of the rabbit.

It feels like you've been doing this for hours, and you're starting to feel tiny needles poking at your legs. You've noticed the toy getting slowly more aggressive, but you don't care. What's it gonna do, bite you? Sure, it's mouth is big, but it's body is small enough to throw at least six feet.

"Time out, I need a break," you groan, your legs stinging as you stand up. The toy remains quiet, standing still in the light. You walk into the restroom to calmly do your business, but find it odd that the light won't turn on. You flick it on and off, but when it doesn't work, you give up. Using the restroom in the dark never hurt anybody.... I think.

As you're drying your hands, you hear arguing outside the door. It's growing louder by the second, so you toss the towel on the sink counter and hurry to see the commotion. When you come out, you almost run into Jeremy.

"I- uh- was a-about to knock," he explains, hand still raised.

"What's going on here?" Jeremy just points behind him to Gabriel and the other boy, now nearly shouting at each other.

"You're always like this dude! Why can't you just be a bit nicer for once?!"

"I'm just being realistic! Besides, at least I don't hang out with our murderer!" This time, he looks at Jeremy, who shrinks at the boy's words. You've had enough of this.

"I don't know you guys that well, but you need to chill out. What makes you so entitled to treat your friends like this?" you raise your voice at the boy, and he only grows more furious.

"What makes you so entitled to tell me how to treat my friends? I don't care who you are lady, but it's not my fault-"

"STOP!!" You all turn to Jeremy. "Just shut up Fritz! You always think you know everything but you don't! You're just a big jerk! Even before we- we- all this! You've always been a bully, and I'm tired of it! I'm tired of you! And so was dad!" He stops, his face dropping, along with streams of tears. Fritz just stares at him in disbelief, and you swear you could see a tear pricking the corner of his eyes.

"Jeremy?" Gabriel croaks, a look of terror on his face. Jeremy digs his palms into his eyes and turns tail. As he reaches the end of the hall, he fades, leaving you alone with Gabriel and Fritz. You turn to see Fritz staring at the ground, tears threatening to escape. But before they can, he takes off in the opposite direction, holding something near his chest.

Gabriel crosses his arms and looks at the ground. He looks like he's about to say something when you remember the toy. You look around for the toy, and he seems to notice your concern.

"We might have accidentally kicked the flashlight..." he mumbles, rubbing his neck. You take a deep breath in.

"It's fine, we just need to find it for now." He nods and you grab the flashlight off the ground. The two of you do a quick sweep of the house, but after a while of no toy, you both sit on the couch.

As you're sitting, you hear the soft pitter patter of the toy's feet. You whip the flashlight towards the sound to see the toy duck into the kitchen. Gabriel perks up as you jump off the couch and make your way after it. The house is dead silent, and your heart could possibly be beating faster than earlier. You get ready to round the corner when it jumps at you, causing you to drop the flashlight and fall onto your back, knocking the wind out of your lungs.

"Y/n!" You have to push the toy away from you as it tries to claw at your face. Despite being only about 3 feet tall, it felt a lot stronger than it looked. Before it could reach your eyes, it takes a swift bat to the head, knocking it clean across the room. Panting, you look up to see Gabriel with a metal baseball bat, also panting. He tosses it to the side and gets down next to you.

"You're okay, right? You're not hurt?" His concern for you is startling. You nod, at a loss for words. He sighs and helps you up onto your feet. As he helps you, you spy a watch on his left wrist, but decide not to ask. Maybe later.

"That was one hell of a swing."

"Baseball player in middle school." He directs his attention back to the problem at hand. The somehow still standing robotic rabbit toy, with a half bashed head, staring straight at you.
