A/N Here it is guys, the sweater! Hope ya like it! (Yes this is actually my sweater. What the heck is wrong with me.)

I walked into Jacob's room, to find him cocooned in his comforter on the floor. His face was turned away. "Um..." I couldn't think of anything to say about this. "how'd ya get over there?" I asked. "I tried to get up, and dressed, but I got..." I couldn't help but giggle a little at that. "Lost?" I offered. "Yea. Lost..." "Do you need help?" "Could you help me find... my-uh... clothes?" He asked sheepishly. "Yea. There's a dresser behind you."

I helped him find his clothes, and stepped out to let him change. When he was done, I came back and helped him straighten his hair. His hair was thick and soft, and a little long, but not super long. about two inches. You couldn't tell unless you played with it though. Time flew by, and before we knew it, we heard the sounds of the other kids getting up, and walking down to breakfast.

"Do you need help walking down the stairs?" I asked. "No, I think I can manage that." He said. We walked out of the room, and down the stairs. Jacob held to the rail, and walked down just fine. I watched him, like a hawk, the whole way. What am I? A mother hen?  The thought made me chuckle internally. We safely conquered one flight of stairs. One more to go. As we neared the first floor, I remembered that I was still in my slippers. No, that won''t do. "Hey Jacob, I need to stop at my room and get something. Ya want to come?" He turned his head Toward me, not making eye contact, but a good effort nonetheless."Y-yes... I would."

We made our way to my bedroom, and I opened the door. "The door is open." Jacob nodded, but didn't go inside. I stepped in, and slid off my slippers, grabbed my brown lace-up boots, and put them on. keeping the laces tight. My boots tapped softly, compared to the loud clumsy slippers that scrapped the floor when I walked. I tapped out of the room, and shut the door.

Jamie and Jacob sat with me at breakfast. The orphanage had a cafeteria like a school. It also had a few classrooms in the back where we went to 'school'. Our plates were filled with steaming pancakes with hot blueberries for syrup, and still sizzling bacon. "sooo," Jamie was the first to speak after we sat at the table. "How was everyone's sleep?" I gave him a thumbs up. My mouth was full of pancake, and I couldn't talk. "I slept okay, but when I got up, I got... lost, and Emily had to help me find my clothes." Jacob said while poking at his food with his fork. Jamie stared between us for a moment. "How did you know he needed help?" He asked me. I felt my face heat up a bit, but couldn't think of an excuse. "Oh." was all he said. As I had hoped, he guessed it, and I didn't have to tell him that I had waited in front of Jacob's door waiting for him to need help like a creep.
