Chapter 5: Adrift in Time

Star was confused as to how Queen Skywyne knew her, "How do you know me though? My mom or grandma aren't even born yet" Star said, "I'm called the Queen of Hours for a reason dear, come on, let's get you back to the castle." Skywyne said, She then took Star back to Mewni castle, "Wow, it looks so different as opposed to in my time." Star said, "Why are you here though? You do know if Omnitraxis find you here, he'll send you back to your time." Skywyne said, Star then began to explain what was going on in her time and why she was there, "I see... so Toffee has kidnapped your mom and Eclipsa and wants to bring the end of the Butterfly name?" Skywyne asked, "Yes, and since in the future I end the magic, I have nothing to stop him with..." Star said as she planted her face into the table, Skywyne thought for a moment and came up with an idea, "Do you still have that spell book I started?" She asked, "We never got rid of it." Star said as she pulled out the spell book. "Wow, guess the Butterfly name has been around for quite a while, well then... I'll be right back dear" Skywyne said then left to go speak to someone. 

5 hours had passed and Star was beginning to worry then Skywyne returned with the Magical High Commission, "Oh no, please don't send me back to my time!!!" Star screamed, "Relax Star, we're not gonna send you back to your time... yet." Omnitraxis said, the Magical High Commission took a seat at the table with Skywyne and Star, "So, you traveled back in time to save your time?" Heckapoo asked, "Well, I unintentionally traveled back in time, you see I..." but before Star could finish, Skywyne cut her off "Don't worry Star, I filled them in, and we have come to a decision..." Skywyne said, Star was ready for the worst, but what she heard filled her with relief, "We're gonna help you defeat Toffee." Rhombulus said, Star then realized, how are they gonna get back to her time, "Uhm how are we gonna get back to my time, my wand seems to be out of space gem energy!" Star said, Skywyne looked at Star's wand, "Follow me Star." Skywyne said, Star followed her to the old realm of Magic, "Place your wand in the magic Star, it should give you your magic back." Skywyne said, Star put her wand in the magic and the wand glowed and transformed into a new version of her wand, "Woah.... upgrade..." Star said in aw.

 "But the question still remains, how are we gonna get back to my time?" Star asked, Skywyne looked at Star smiling, "I'm not called the Queen of Hours for nothing." Skywyne said, they both exited the old realm of magic and went back to Mewni, "Alright, now to make a plan before we storm your castle..." Skywyne said, "I say we go to war with the monsters!" Rhombulus suggests, Star looks at Rhombulus, "No Rhombulus, that will only make things worse for us." she said, "We need to be strategic about it... Toffee is not like anything you guys have encountered before... at least not yet." Star continued then she started organizing a plan to take back Earth-ni castle. Moon and Eclipsa sat in the castle dungeons when they saw monsters unlocking the door and throwing in Marco, "Marco?!" Eclipsa shouted, Marco looked up and saw Moon and Eclipsa, "Moon?! Eclipsa?!" he shouted, Moon ran over to him, "Where's Star?! Is she safe?!" Moon asked scared for her daughter, "She escaped through a portal.... but I don't know where she could be now." Marco answered, Moon worried about Star, but they had other things to worry about.

Star finished drawing out the plan on a piece of paper, "So that's the plan then, the Magical High Commission will attack from the back of the castle while I take on Toffee." Star said ready for the battle, but Skywyne stopped her, "Star wait, you can't go in by yourself, you need an army..." she said, "But where? The mewni army fell when Meteora took the castle a while back..." Star returned, "Heckapoo, if you would..." Skywyne said, Heckapoo then opened a portal and Skywyne pointed her wand at it, "Great shooting star, push this portal far, oh, great shooting star..." Skywyne's wand glows and shoots a yellow beam at the portal making it travel forwards in time, "What's that gonna do?" Star asked, "You'll see..." Skywyne responded and soon Star saw people she never expected to see. Eclipsa tried to break the bars but it was no use, "We've got to get out of here..." she said, "How? We don't have magic anymore, we can't summon ourselves a key or something like that..." Moon said, Marco then had an idea, he pulled out an old paperclip from his pocket and fashioned it into a lock pick and unlocked the cell door, "But.... h-how did you...?!" Moon said shocked, "Don't judge a person by their size" Marco said as he walked out of the cell, "Come on, maybe we can fight him..." he continued, "With what, we don't have magic anymore..." Moon replied, then Eclipsa saw something, "Moon, is that an army approaching the castle?!" she said, everyone looked out the window to see an army approaching the castle, being led by someone they never expected.

Toffee sat in the throne room still waiting for Star to come and rescue her mother and Marco, "Sir, she's here..." one of the monster's said, "Good, send her in..." Toffee demanded, then a girl in all too familiar pig tails walked in, "Ahhh Mina, once royal warrior for Queen Solaria turned rogue, a pleasure to finally meet you..." Toffee said in his calming voice, "Don't try anything funny lizard man!" Mina said ready for anything to happen, "Do not fret, we are not gonna harm you, we would like to offer you a position... in our army....." Toffee said with a evil smirk, "What kind of position...?" Mina asked, "A general position, you would be in control of my entire monster army, so.... do we have a deal?" Toffee asked holding out his hand for a handshake to seal their deal, Mina smiles and shakes his hand sealing their deal, "Welcome to the army Mina, general of the monster army..." Toffee said, then one of the monsters ran in, "Sir!!! An army is approaching and fast!!!!", Toffee and Mina looked out a window and saw the army approaching lead by the exact person they're after.
