To say Rex was stressed was an understatement. Between studying Umbara for the campaign, running various drills with the new troops, and trying to find time to spent with Ahsoka, he was exhausted. Ahsoka knew right away, and insisted that he shouldn't have to feel obligated to spend time with her, and she tried to make up for it by leaving little notes all over for him to find. They were a small type of relief, but he wanted to spend time with her for the sake of his sanity as well as hers.
On the other hand, being bound and gagged and left in a closet was not his idea of quiet time with Ahsoka, since she was the one that locked him in there in the first place, along with a mystery crate full of her idea of fun. He shuddered. He had been in the closet for almost an hour now. Suddenly he heard shuffling outside the door, and began to struggle as hard as he could. The door opened, and Fives caught him as he fell forward.
He saw Ahsoka, an evil grin on her face as Fives propped him up against the wall. He squirmed ad grunted a little more, and Fives finally removed the gag. There were other clones there, Kix, Jesse, Tup, Hardcase, and a couple others from the new troops he had just taken off of Kamino. Cavalry was also there, which surprised him. She seemed so uptight, and wanted to prove that she earned her place in the army. Not making evil plans with Ahsoka.
"Don't bother yelling, Rexie. There's no one down this hallway to hear you." She said, her voice sickly sweet and almost cruel in tone. He had never been this scared of anything in his life. She pulled her mystery crate out of the back of the closet. It spilled white mist dramatically over the sides when she slowly lifted the lid. She looked at each clone in turn, the harsh white light of the crate casting deep shadows on her face. "May I present the most dangerous weapons to ever fall into clone hands. Whipped cream, a ball of nylon cord, neon paint, spray goo, airhorns, butter, rubber chickens, and the worst of all." Ahsoka pulled out a jug of something. "Triple. Shot. Espresso."
Rex felt all of the blood drain from his face. She was going to kill them all. The older clones got the war paint, and the younger ones got yellow stripes under their eyes. Ahsoka shuffled around in the closet, coming up with a anti-grav pushcart. She put the crate on first, and Fives helped her sit Rex up against the crate on the front of the cart.
"Relax Rex. This is going to be fun." She breathed in his ear. He turned to look at her.
"Destroying the ship is not my idea of fun." He whispered back, his eyes narrow and terrified. Ahsoka gave a low chuckle and kissed him on the cheek when the others weren't looking. Cavalry gives her a lazy grin.
"'Soka, can I borrow the butter?" She drawls. Ahsoka meets her eyes.
"What for?" She asked. They had all agreed that they wouldn't do anything more than anger the other residents of the ship. Nothing like buttering the controls of a ship or jamming the deflector shields off.
"I want revenge on Whiteout for the last few days." She said, her tone laid back and casual. She suddenly didn't seem so chill. Her eyes glittered dangerously. Ahsoka considered.
"Fives was going to hit the barracks anyways. Go with him and make tomorrow hell." She said with a smirk. She tossed Cav a stick of butter, and Fives grabbed a single can of goo. Ahsoka smiled. "Best of luck, and nothing too permanent." Fives pouted a bit.
"Do we have any hair dye?" he asked, resigned that he couldn't rig the blasters with confetti. Ahsoka shook her head. Fives shrugged, and Cavalry pulled him away to the barracks. Rex watched them go.
"Somebody's going to die. I have a feeling it might be one of those two." He grimaced. Ahsoka rolled her eyes and punched him in the arm.
"Lighten up, will you? Besides, everyone could use a break from the stress of planning for Umbara. You did say you wanted to spend more time with me." She shot him a grin. It was Rex's turn to roll his eyes.
