A new battle between Keireens forces and Reinlas's forces at the new border between their territories after the battle of Tykenheilm has started a few days later, Reinlas is there fighting alongside his men and Ratankira is also there as the battle continues to rage he notices that some war beasts are trying to get to Reinlas.
"Trying to kill him yourself hm?" Ratankira thinks to himself before he notices that whe those ones get the chance they dont attack but are ultimitely killed anyway because of the confusion of battle
Ratankira scoffs.
"Whatever they are trying to do, I will find out" Ratankira thinks to himself
The battle continues on for hours causing many casualties and as Keireens forces begin to lose Ratankira looks around.
"First damn it. RETREAT!" Ratankira shouts causing Reinlas's forces to stop as Ratankira leaves the wounded behind for Reinlas to take as he, the able to leave soldiers and the war beasts leave
Ratankira looks at the war beasts as he walks away with them and he sees some making side glances over to Reinlas and his soldiers.
"Eyes. Forward" Ratankira says and the war beasts eyes snap forward
"Good" Ratankira says
Ratankira along with the other mages teleport everyone back to Pyrehyme the capital city of Keieens kingdom and Ratankira teleported to the castle dungeons with the war beasts.
"To your places beasts" Ratankira says and the war beasts go to their specified areas and Ratankira locks them in their cages
Ratankira goes back upstairs and to the war room and as he walks in Keireen and Onikerm look at him.
"So how'd that go?" Keireen asks
"About as expected, we lost and Tykenheilm seems to have been rebuilt already with even better defences so until thats assessed by more of my spies attacking it to take it back is idiotic at best, suicidal at worst" Ratankira says
"Oooo sounds fun" Onikerm says with a grin
"Shut up, theres something else" Ratankira says
"What?" Keireen asks
"Some of the war beasts were trying to get to Reinlas I had thought maybe they were going to kill him themselves but when they got close enough to attack him they didn't" Ratankira says
"I must not have heard correctly, our war beasts specifically made to kill, didn't attack?" Keireen asks annoyed
"Yes and more than that when I called for retreat as we walked away before teleporting, some of the war beasts looked back towards Reinlas's army not the delantramites though I feel the tykema told them not too as that would have been to obvious" Ratankira says almost proud at that last little bit
"Your ones are always scheming, shouldn't surprise me we made them for that but what are they trying to do specifically?" Keireen asks
"I intend to find out, though as per your orders I wont 'talk' to your or onikerms beasts" Ratankira says
"Then we'll find out ourselves, wont we onikerm?" Keireen says as he looks over to Onikerm
Onikerm gets a big sadistic smile as he grabs a blade.
"Torture time my lovelies" Onikerm says as he teleports to the area the metal monsters are at
"If he makes one of them have faulty metal skin again I swear to the first im going to snap hsi neck" Keireen says as he teleports to the wolf creatures
