"GWEN!" Ayo screamed out so furiously that it made Gwen jump. Gwen stopped and quickly showed Ayo the card.

"No, no, I'm not following you. I'm actually staying at Dorm 49, so that's where I'm heading now," Gwen said in a shaky voice as she shuddered a little and lifted up her card. She had been startled by Ayo's loud voice.

Ayo nodded and walked over to where Gwen stood, and inspected her dorm card thoroughly. Ayo chuckled and tapped Gwen playfully after seeing that Gwen was telling the truth. Even though Gwen was weird, they were dorm mates; it would be fun and lively with her around. Gwen giggled and hugged Ayo rather tightly; for a girl, she had such a firm grip.

"Alright, alright, you can let me go now," Ayo said but Gwen was not relenting.

"Gwen...!" Ayo snorted and struggled to break free from her vice-like hold.

"Oh, sorry," Gwen said and finally released Ayo from her tight grasp. They later found Dorm 49 and entered. A girl was already there; she was dark skinned and had a shoulder length black hair. She was using her laptop and didn't seem to notice the two new girls as they entered.

"Uhm, hi," Ayo said and waved at the occupant in the room.

"Pick your beds and get yourselves settled, you both have to be ready for the evening music classes; we have them every Friday. I'm Brie, Brie Muoneke," she said without looking up from her laptop.

"Uhm, ok," Ayo said as she and Gwen both picked a bed that was close to the door. They unpacked their bags and put all their items in their respective wardrobes. After unpacking her things, Gwen brought out a jar of worms.

That got Brie's attention. She looked up at the new dorm mates who just entered. "Sorry, pets are not allowed here," she said as she frowned.

"Oh, these? These are not pets, they just help me to sleep well at night, so I was hoping to share them with everyone so that we'll all sleep peacefully," Gwen said as she looked round the girls and giggled.

Ayo rushed to Gwen and gently collected the jar of worms. "You know what Gwen, why don't we just put this jar of worms by the window, away from us, hmm?" she said sweetly and kept the jar of worms on the window sill. And though it was next to Brie's bed, she didn't complain about it.

"Don't blame me if the jar mistakenly drops cos I tend to get rough some times," Brie said as she continued to type on her laptop. Ayo merely laughed it off as a joke. "Things were going perfectly so far; there were two blacks, one white," she thought as she hoped their last roommate would also be a white girl.

Just then the door to their dorm room was flung open and a blonde entered; a blonde that Ayo recognized immediately. It was the same girl that she had confronted at the airport.

She walked up to Ayo and gave her a stinging slap on the face. "I didn't know wretches were allowed in here too," she spat in irritation and hissed. Ayo gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. She did not give the blonde the satisfaction of seeing her rub her face in pain. Ayo flowers at the trouble maker.

"Oh, you wanna fight me now, do you? Like you wanted to at the airport?" The blonde said as she twirled her long hair and stood boldly in Ayo's face. Ayo remained mute, not retaliating or saying a word.

Brie and Gwen both stopped what they were doing and looked over to where the two girls stood, face to face.

"This would be fun," Brie thought as she focused her full attention to where Ayo and the newcomer stood. Gwen gasped in fear as she hurriedly began to search inside her backpack for her phone.

"Fight, fight, fight," Brie chanted wickedly. Ayo, angry as ever, gave the blonde a mean look and then turned away, walking off to her bed. The blonde smirked and walked to her own bed as well and began to unpack her bags, scattering their contents on her bed.
