We swim for a while and chill in the beach till it gets late. "Josh!" I yell running up to him. "What." "Race you to the hotel!" I yell taking off in the other direction grabbing my bag, running as fast as I could. Once I hit the side walk I ran around taking a different way and josh was close to me.
I'm feet away from the hotel when I feel two hands grab my waist and pull them to their chest. "Hey let go!" I yell laughing. " mmm no. I wanna win." I struggle to get out of his arms . He turns so I'm toward the opposite way from the hotel, let's go and takes off toward the hotel.
I whip around and keep running till I reach the lobby. "No fair." I laugh. "Why not." "You chested and held me back." "There were no rules." I roll my eyes and laugh. We go up to the room and change out of our bathing suits. I go out and see josh struggling to clip his chain around his neck, "turn." I smile grabbing it and doing it up for him. He hugs me smiling. "What." I smile hugging him back. "It's good to be so close again."
We hug for a minute till I hear a knock at the main door. "I got it." I say and go out to get it. "Oh hey." I smile seeing chase and hug him. I softly shut the door behind me so we had privacy. "What's up." "Wanted to come see you." He smiled looking me up and down. "Wanna go get something to eat?" He asks. " I actually have plans. Rain check for.. tomorrow night?" I ask. "Sure." He smiles softly. I nod and hug him once more before he goes.
"Who was that?" Josh asks as I walked inside. "Chase. He wanted to hang, but I told him I had plans tonight." "You have plans tonight?" I nod. "What are they." "Going to get food. With you." I smile. He smiles and gets extremely happy. "Come on." I say grabbing his hand.
We head down and find a cute little restaurant off a little ways and decide to eat there.

We finish up dinner and head back to the hotel, as were walking back josh gets a phone call.
"Hey nessa- yeah. I know. Mhm. Alright ok bye." "You're talking time nessa again?" I say confused. "Yeah.. she wants to figure stuff out and work it out. Ya know she is really nice when you get to know her." I nod, slightly disappointed. I mean he is just a friend, and had no intention of lore than that. We can't ruin our friendship either way.
It starts to get late so when we get back most of the guys were in their rooms. Typically josh sleeps on the floor if I stay over, like the last time. But the bed was big and I felt bad, so he slept on one side I slept on the other, trying to be far away from him. I was really quiet the rest of the night, and josh was clueless to why. I don't like him, but when josh IS with nessa it takes away our friendship.
It was about midnight and we were laying there sleeping. Everything off and silent. I roll over toward josh. "Josh, are you awake." I whisper waiting a minute. It takes him a sec till he finally says "yeah." "Okay can I tell you something." I ask, it was too dark to see him, or anything for that matter, we laid there motionless talking back and forth. "Yeah." "If nessa makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. But if you get back with her.." josh interrupts me "Myla dont." "No josh listen. If you get back with her. Don't let her take what we have away. You're my best friend. You always have been josh. I can't loose you." It goes quiet for too long. "I can't loose you bubba." I could feel tears burning my eyes, this thought scared me, and this is really what was happening. "You're not going to loose me peanut." He says coming closer to my pulling me into his chest wrapping his arms around me. "I promise you won't lose me." He says tightening his arms around me.
I look up and there's a he's practically a silhouette from the moon light. He gently brushes my hair back from my face looking down at me. Everything, every memory of him rush's through my head for a minute as I put my head back on his bare chest and fall asleep.
