Lady is, by no means, a well mannered lady. Of course not; she is a dargonkin. What manners do dragons have other than not shooting their loved ones in the face? Granted, she does that as well. But that is beside the point; Lady is a little terror. And those unusual times when she grows up...she is a normal-sized terror.

All the dragons who are close with the weyr and in the weyr know this; she's trouble and loves it. When she is not picking fights with strangers that she has no chance of winning, she is running away from her parents and then crying for attention when no one goes to get her.She has many tricks and games that she likes to play. As an adult there is only so much she can get away with.

Ever since Pookie cleverly betrayed the weyr, the dragonkin have been on high alert for anything in regards to the monstrous sandworm. The attacks on the weyr itself became few and far between. Lady would never admit it out loud, but she missed Pookie. She missed playing with the danger that was Pookie...So, one day, when there had been little news of the worm Lady came up with a devious idea.

Daddy! I want to go find Pookie! Won't it be easier to keep track of Pooks if we have someone watching it?

Kross looked down at his daughter who was almost full grown. He knew, thanks to the ton of her voice and excited expression, that she was up to no good. However, he could see way the terror could get into trouble with Pookie-she had been working hard to become an adult for once. She had been avoiding Death and his minions well. After a few moments of thought he agreed, but only with some conditions.

I will go with you, as will your sister and Fox. Wait for me to gather them.

It took no time at all for the group to gather together as everyone was bored. Glay and Fox were wyverns, so the small group had to move slowly to get to their destination; Pookie's nest in Graveyard. Lady was still a new flyer, so she moved only slightly faster than the two full grown wyverns. As she got more comfortable, she began to fly circles around them, playfully shooting plasma blasts near them.

Glay snapped at her sister as she passed, just barely missing the young plasma by centimetres. Rather than be frightened, Lady took the nip as a playful challenge and the two were soon darting about in the sky nipping harmlessly at each others tails and wings.

Kross ignored their play and flew beside Fox. The group had started their flight under the cover of night in hopes of avoiding attention from other dragonkin and potentially the sandworm itself. As they neared Graveyard, the sun popped up over the dunes; they had flown a longways to get to the resting place of their great ancestor.

A black rock protruded out from beyond a tall dune. That was how the group knew they had gotten near. The rock was actually the remains of terrifying beast of legends; an elemental. The remains still glowed with unknown energy, although the elemental itself had been longdead. Not far from the elemental was the untouched body of an ancient alpha wyvern. Not even bugs dared disrespect the great being and she had never decayed.

The four flew nervously around Graveyard, looking for any sign of Pookie. The sand shifted innocently in the wind, making Lady think...maybe there was something under there. The dragonkin was tired, so they landed on the top of the elemental, far above where Pookie may be able to reach them.

As the others rested, Lady, still full of energy and life, bared her teeth in an aggressive grin. It was time to have some fun. She was certain Pookie was here somewhere; there was no sight of any young sandworms wriggling in the sands. There was a well fed adult sandworm nearby...

Kross happened to glance over at his daughter in time to see her grin. Before he could do anything to stop her, the young plasma leaped from the safety of their perch and dove to the sands below. She swooped down low, basically offering herself up to be eaten. With a taunting, gurgling screech, she landed and pranced about bravely.

Lady.....

Kross was not pleased, his tone was threatening and an unspoken order for her to return could be heard. Lady ignored him, carefully listening and feeling for any sign of Pookie...and she found it. A slight tremor below her that was swiftly gaining intensity. The young dragon lunged forward and took to the air just as the familiar hissing roar could be heard. Not a second later, Pookie exploded from the sands right where Lady had been second before.

Lady twisted her neck behind her to make jeering calls at the sand worm as she escaped, unscratched. Kross watched his foolish daughter dance about the annoyed worm and placed a paw on his forehead. If she survived this...he would make sure she was a easy to care for hatchling by the day's end. Glay roared with laughter at her sister's antics and danced excitedly in place as she watched. Fox, on the other hand, ignored them all and rested as best she could with all the noise.

Pookie ducked back under the sands and moved locations, popping out just below Lady. Unfortunately for Pookie, Lady had been expecting this and dropped back tot eh sands, flying low where Pookie could not get to her quickly. She turned sharply and flew in close to bite ruthlessly at the worm. She latched on for a moment, ripping off a chunk of tender flesh, and fled again. Pookie roared and lurched toward her, snapping at her tail and only barely missing her. Lady called mockingly again before gaining altitude as quickly as she could.

Kross crouched, getting ready to punish his daughter severely if she landed. He knew she had to be getting tired; she had not rested very long at all and it had been a long flight for a youngling. To his surprise, however, she did not. She circled up high before diving down toward the sands and, at he last possible moment, pulling herself back up into the skies.

Pookie, who had been waiting in the sands, felt her powerful wing beats as she climbed back up and attempted to pull the young plasma from the sky again. Once again, to no avail. The worm furiously roared at thefamiliar dragon and buried itself in the sand once more. Lady made several low passes, but Pookie did not reappear. Seeing this, she dropped from the air and darted about in the sands. Nothing.Dejected, Lady gave up and returned to be harshly scolded by her father and heavily praised by her sister.
