Day 2

Codys POV

Today I woke up pretty early so I could go to the hospital. The doctors said yesterday that (y/n) was going to wake up one day this week and that they'd have more information today. Before I left my house I picked up my guitar and Grabbed some money for the shop. I had also planned to do something pretty special today for (y/n).

I hopped in my car and drove to the nearest flower shop. I jumped our and browsed the shelves, trying to find the most beautiful bouquet for (y/n). After about twenty minutes of searching I found the perfect bunch. Red, white and blue roses. I knew they were (y/ns) favourite colours from when we were dating. I really miss those days.

I paid for the flowers and then left the shop. I got to the hospital and jogged to her room. Dr Rosemary was in there writing some information down in her notebook. I hesitantly knocked on the door. She signalled for me to come in. 'Hello Doctor, have you got any news on when she is going to wake up?' I crossed my fingers hoping she would say today.
'Yes actually sir, we have monitored her brain activity over the past twelve hours and have found it has started to get itself back to normal as we speak. My fellow colleagues and I have predicted that tomorrow she shall wake up although, we cannot be one hundred percent positive.' She smiled.
I couldn't resist the urge to hug her then. 'Thank you so much! You don't know how much this means to me!'
'Its my job' she said as she laughed and walked out of the room. Still smiling I went and took a seat next to (y/n). I placed the flowers in the case next to her bed and put some water in it. I kissed her cheek and thenI took out my guitar and began to play...

I finished playing and smiled to myself. She will never know the way I feel about her. 'I love you (y/n)' I whispered before kissing her cheek and then leaving.

I waited until I heard the door close and opened my eyes. Did Cody just say he loved me?
