Dirac stepped on the front porch with King and two guards he had called when they were in hospital haddled over him and Jasmine.

The house was silent and no aroma of Dalais' food welcomed him when he opened the door. It was a mess, he had missed the man and couldn't hold it in anymore.

What if Dalais never woke up? Dirac would be crushed. He wasn't sure he was put on this earth to love anyone else, and he sure as hell did not want to find out if he could.

Dalais harboured in him the pureness Dirac had ever seen and he had a thought that it ran deeper than he had explored. He was ready to explore more, only if Dalais wakes up.

"I'll take Jasmine to her room." Dirac informed, leaving the three men behind.

"Can you give me a t-shirt or something to wear?" Jasmine pleaded as they reached the top of the staircase. "I don't think I can sleep in this dress."

Dirac simply nodded, opening the door to his room, Jasmine following behind him. When he opened the closet, shock washed over him.

In the closet was Rogue, tied to the chair with tape on the mouth. He turned back to instruct Jasmine to run but it was too late. Gabriela had her arm firmly on her throat and a gun to her head.

"Hey son." She smiled mischievously, following her smile with an evil snarl.

"Gabriela!" Dirac almost shouted but Gabriela held Jasmine more firmly (harder actually).

"Shhh." Gabriela still very much smiling. "We don't wanna rouse your friends now, right? Because if they get up here, they'll stunt me, causing me to slip and pull this trigger and blow your friend's brains out."

"Okay, calm down." Dirac whispered.

"I'm perfectly calm, sweety. Just go down and tell your friends to go home so we can get this family reunion on the roll. We can even make a welcome ceremony for the family's new edition." Her dark eyes averted to Jasmine's stomach. "What do you think?"

"Okay, just don't pull the trigger, okay?"  Dirac said calmly, trying his best not to trigger the woman before him.

"Not while you're away. Throw your phone on the bed and go." She moved Jasmine towards the bed post as Dirac threw his phone and made his way out.

"Kingston." Dirac called out once he was downstairs. The men turned to him as he placed his poker face. "I think Jasmine and I need a quiet, less growded night. Can you maybe come back in the morning. I think we're safe on our own."

King turned his head slightly towards the man infront of him and smiled warmly (first warm smile Dirac has ever seen on that scarred face). Although the smile was warm, his eyes had turned dark as he studied Dirac.

"Are you sure?" He asked, almost like he was trying to confirm it.

"Pretty positive." Dirac beamed. "Can I see you out?"

"Don't worry about it. Have a good night." King hugged Dirac (which was in itself a shock) before he and his men headed out as Dirac stood there, hoping King got the silent message.

"Let's head back up." A man emerged from the dark office space and came on full view to Dirac.

"Ramiah?" Dirac was besides himself as Ramiah's thick Indian accent caught him.

'Some woman and a man with a wierd accent.'

"It was you?" Dirac whispered. "You put a hit on Dalais and I?"

"Go up, Dirac. Unless you want your lover's sister and your beloved father in a body bag."

When they got back to the bedroom, Rogue's lips were freed but he was still tied to the chair.
