Dalais was in his office, trying his best to concentrate on work. Part of him wanted to give Dirac space but a huge part demanded he confront and comfort him.
He planned to stay up all night and all day tomorrow if need be, so he can wait for him to return home. He didn't want to make him feel alone again because now he realised how much he had messed up in the past.
He felt he could have done more to reach out to Dirac and demand to know what was wrong with him. He had something was going on but had hoped he would be the one to come to him about it.
Instead he had let him be, letting him think he was something wrong with the world.
His phone ran and the caller I.D. signalled Josh.
"Hey Josh."
"Yoh, man. You said you've been staying with Dirac for the past two weeks, yah?"
"Yah, why?"
"So he's here... passed out on the bathroom stall of Fairy Dust."
"Fairy Dust, the gay club?"
"Yep. He's in his tux and everything, mumbling what sounds extremely like your name."
"You've got to be kidding me." He jolted from his sit.
"Thought you should know, I can take him home with me if you're busy."
"No... stay with him for a few minutes. I'm on my way."
Dalais grabbed his jacket and keys and ran out to his garage. He drove like a mad man all the way to Fairy Dust, getting there in under twenty minutes to a place which is nearly 50 minutes away. Before he packed his car he called Josh.
"Dude, where you at?"
"We're standing near the front door, the bloody stall was stinky as hell, I had to carry him out."
"Okay cool." Dalais turned his car towards the front door where Josh was uncomfortably holding Dirac. As soon as he packed, Josh pulled Dirac towards the car and Dalais went to help him put Dirac in the back. "Thanks for calling man."
"It's by luck I was even here and that this place is extremely private. He would be all over the tabloids right now." Josh said after they've loaded drunken, heavy Dirac in the car. "He's all puked out, so he won't mess up your car."
"Dude, thank you. Really, I'm greatful."
"Just take care of that little son of a bitch. Ally will come back to kill us if we don't."
"I'll do that."
Dalais entered his car and drove back home.
"Euless." Dirac said as he slowly opened is eyes. "That you buddy? Hey buddy butt, butt. I've missed you man."
"I'm here Rac."
"That's what you used to call me back in high school... I used to love that name. Only Dalais called me by that name."
"He did?"
"He did. And I made couple pet names for us... RacLais was my favourite... and then DiDa next. That one was cute. Even considered naming myself Double Dee. Which was smart because everyone would think it's for Dirac Dewitt but no, it was for Dirac Dalais."
"That's a pretty cool name, Double Dee."
"I know, right?" He started taking off his blazer. "But I couldn't tell Dalais I was in love with him then. Not even now."
"Why the hell not?" Dalais found himself asking, maybe because he was curious.
"Because he was head over heals in love with Ally." His tie followed. "Who could blame him... my sister was pretty hot."
"Was he?"
"Of course. He hung around her all the time. Even followed her to watch some of my games."
"Has it ever crossed your mind that maybe he liked you. That maybe he was hanging around her to get closer to you?"
"Damn it's hot in here." The shirt followed. Dirac almost turned on the AC but it was actually very cold. "This bloody pants don't wanna come off."
He left them mid thigh, simply because pulling them down was hard.
They finally arrived at the estate and luckily for Dalais, Dirac was awake enough to not need carrying inside the house. He wouldn't have minded though, he had taken weights that would have benefited him now.
So he pulled up Dirac's pants and led him to the house, careful to not let him fall. The journey upstairs was hard with the singing Dirac.
"Although it hurrrrts... I'll be the firrrst to say that... I was wrooooooooooong... ohhh I know I'm prolly much too late, to try and apologise for my mistakes but I just want you to knooooooooouuuu... I hope he buys you flowers. Does he buy you flowers Dalais... does he?"
Dirac asked in the middle of his very out of tune song. "Take you to every parry cause all you wartered to do was daaaaaaare... now my baby 's dancing... but he's dancing... Do you still dance, Euless?"
"Let's get you to bed and we'll find out." Dalais found other bedrooms too far so he just decided they'd sleep in his room. He put Dirac on the bed and hurried to get his extra pjs from the closet.
"Wear these before we go wash your teeth." He instructed but Dirac just slumbed in the bed forcing Dalais to do it himself. He just put off the pants and pushed him to the bathroom. He forced him to gulp mouth wash and had to force him not to swallow it but to spit it out.
After what felt like an hour, Dalais just let him sleep in his boxers and he slept right beside him. Sleep did not come easy as Dalais stayed awake trying to analyse the fact that he has feelings for Dirac Dewitt, probably always had and the hardness of his dick nodded in agreement.
