Chapter 1

It was a Saturday when it all started.

Eli was at the bank, waiting in line like everyone else. Then, out of nowhere, the wall exploded. Eli looked at the hole that the explosion created and saw two big burly men in black masks. "Everybody stay where you are and put your hands up!," the bigger guy yelled. They were both holding guns. The bigger guy pulled out a sack and shoved it toward one of the ladies behind the counter. "Put the money in the bag!," he yelled, "Quickly!" Eli watched, in fear, as the man held a gun to the lady's head. The other man walked up to Eli. "Hey boss," he said, looking down at her, "Check this out." The man by the counter looked at her. "Bring her with us," he instructed.  The other guy grabbed the fearful young lady by her wrist and held her against himself. He, then, held a gun to her head. "Now, don't move sweetheart," he said, "It'd be a shame if you wound up dead." "Let her go!," said a heroic sounding voice. "Not this guy!," said the 'boss' dude. "It's the #1 hero!," one guy yelled. "It's Deku!," a lady yelled. "He's come to save us!," someone else said. Eli's heart skipped a beat. Deku?!, she asked herself, The Deku?! Someone pinch me!

The fight happened so fast. It wasn't even a fight at all. Deku just picked up both of the perps and threw them into a police cruiser. Deku turned back to the people in the bank. He ran from person to person, asking if they were alright. Then he got to Eli. "Are you okay, Miss?," he asked her. She nodded. He looked down at her wrist. Eli didn't even realize that she was holding it. "Did he hurt you?," Deku asked her. "A l-little bit," she said shyly. There were doctors and nurses running in, checking for injuries. A young nurse walked up to Deku and Eli. "She's hurt," Deku told the nurse. The nurse wrapped a blanket around Eli and led her to the ambulance. Deku followed close behind. "Alright, Miss," the nurse said, "What is your name?" "Eliana Grace," Eli replied.
