Yen's POV

Tour has been AMAZING! These people are always nailing it with their amazing acts. I remain hidden from the huge crowd at every show, either I'm on backstage or behind the divider for the TNTL Shows, helping each person with their costumes. Now we're back in the bus and on our way to Oregon. I can actually surprise my family for a little while since we'll be staying for 2 days there.

We stopped by a gas station and we made our way to the conveniece store linked to the station. I went in and grabbed myself some iced tea and maybe a chocolate or two. I found a toblerone bar and took it along with a pack of oreos. On my way to pay for the stuff I got I heard Damien calling me. "Yen." He said which caught my attention.

I smiled at the man as he walk towards me. I still get excited whenever I see him. He's just something, you know? "Hi Damien." I said. He went over to where I was standing and gave me a kiss in the cheek. "Are you having a fun time?" He asked, resting his hand around my waist. "I am. Tour has been such an amazing time, more importantly I 'd get to spend some time with you." I said, collecting my goods. "After this tour, I promise to take you out on a date." He whispered into my ear, sending chills all over my back.

I've decided to play it off cool. "I'll be looking forward to that day, Mr. Haas." I said, as we got out of the store. I opened my canned tea and offered him some. "You two are so cute, ya nastys." Courtney cooed. "Come on. Who can resist this beautiful lady beside me?" Damien said as he took my hand and twirled me in the middle of nowhere, making me blush to my ears. "Damien" I chuckled.

He chuckled then rested his arms around my shoulders before planting yet another kiss on my temple. I can't believe how Damien is so comfortable around everyone as he shows his affection towards me publicly. I admire him, don't get me wrong but I can sense something else.

We went back to the bus and made our way to Oregon!

We arrived at the Revolution Hall and the guys had some dry-runs of what the show will be tomorrow. I pulled Nancy to the side and told her I'm going to my family's house to surprise them. "Do you want me to come with you?" She offered. "Nope, it's okay. Besides they need you here." I said. "Say hi to Layla and Clint for me." she said. I grabbed my bag and was about to go when Damien saw me.

"Yen? Where are you going?" He asked. "Oh. I forgot to tell you, but I'm gonna be surprising my family here. They don't live that far from where we're at." I answered. "You're going alone? Would you like me to drive you to your family's house?" he offered. "I appreciate the offer but I don't want to hinder you from rehearsing. I'll be okay, I promise. I'll text you as soon as I get there." I smiled at him as he continued giving me a worrysome expression. "Trust me, I'll be back sooner than you think, okay?" I kissed him on the cheek which made him smile.

"Okay, I trust you. Text me when you get there, okay?" He said, putting his hands on both sides of my waist. "Only you, baby." I said, giving him a quick peck on the lips. I heard him giggle and I was in awe. "You're adorable, you know that?" I said. "I know." He said with a smug face. Playfully rolling my eyes, I said my farewell and made my way outside the theater.

I got my phone out and immediately called for an uber. I still remember the home address so I put it in and waited for the car to arrive. This is it! I miss them so much! I wish I could stay longer, but maybe another time. Time passed so swiftly, I hardly noticed I already arrived at the destination.

I got out of the car and  texted Damien that I made it home safely. I quickly put my phone back in my pocket.

Now here I am standing in front of the door.

I'm a little nervous. I'm sensing something bad is gonna happen or worse, something bad already happened. I brushed all my worries away and found my way pressing the doorbell. A few seconds passed before I saw my sister opening the door for me. A huge smile plastered on my face as I saw her, it's been months since I last saw her. My smile was immediately knocked out as soon as I saw her crying.

"What happened?" I asked, hugging her. "Dad's dead." she mumbled. I immediately froze from where I was standing. He's gone? And no one told me?

A mixture of sadness, confusion and shock fueled me. "Why has no one told me?" I said as my voice cracked, restricting myself from crying too much. She pulled me inside the house and shut the door. A faint long beep coming from upstairs is what I noticed first. She took me to where everyone was. My mom, and a doctor.  My dad insisted home treatment rather than in a hospital.

I saw my mom balling her eyes out as the doctor apologized for the departed. I watch as my dad flatlined, and slowly I can feel my heart getting crushed more and more. "Mom?" I managed to blurt out. I caught her attention and imediately went to where I was. "I'm so sorry. I was gonna call you, I promise." She said.

It just happened. That's why no one has contacted me yet.

My eyes started burning and I can feel my heart sink to the ground. I went to where my dad lay and held his cold lifeless hand. "I'm so sorry, Dad." I cried. He's gone.

Damien's POV

It's been 8 hours since I last saw Yen, I kept leaving messages and to my dismay no replies. I tried calling her but it just goes straight to voicemail. I can't help but worry more. I looked for Nancy and ask her if she knew what's happening but she doesn't know either. Now we're on our way to eat dinner but all I can think of is her safety.

Shayne noticed my sudden silence. "Hey, is everything okay?" He asked. I shook my head. "Yen hasn't answered any of my calls and I'm really worried where she might be right now." "I'm sorry, man." He said, patting my back. I texted her the hotel we're currently staying at, hoping that she would come by tomorrow or later.

What happened?
