Yen's POV

"We finally did it, everyone! Tour's over!" Shayne said, popping a bottle of champagne, pouring everyone a drink. Everyone cheered. "I would like to make a toast." Ian said, as everyone raised their glasses. "Here's to everyone who worked their asses off to make this tour possible, and for the friends we made along the way." Ian looked at me, pointing his glass towards my direction, making everyone look at me. I gave him a smile, mouthing the words, "Thank you". Going back to his speech, "Thank you everyone! Congrats to all of us! To more projects!" He ended. "To more projects." Everyone repeated and drank from their glass.

We're finally on our way home. This week has been extremely eventful. I never would've expected for my vacation to end up like this. The gang is having fun, drinking and dancing inside the bus. I sat on the booth and watch them live the time of their lives. Nancy caught my eye and walked towards me. "Hey! You wanna dance with us?" She invited me. I gave her a smile and politely declined. She nodded and made her way back to Courtney.

I sip from my cup and sighed. I'm so drained, physically, emotionally and mentally. I haven't fully recovered from my father's departure, and I have a week left to enjoy this vacation. I placed the cup on the table in front of me and got my phone. I texted my sister and asked how she's been.

I miss you guys! How are you and mom?

We're better now. Dad's funeral's tomorrow at 3.

It would be a small service. I wish you'd come.

I'll be there! I'll catch the next flight as soon as I get home.

Are you sure?

Positive. I'll see u! <3

I closed my phone and drank the remaining liquid from the cup. I just hope we can get home soon so I can pack and go back to Oregon. "Hey, are you okay?" I looked up to see a very concerned expression coming from Damien as he caught my attention. I smiled at him and patted the seat beside me, inviting him to sit beside me. He sat beside me and wrapped his left arm around me. "Thank you." I said, as I played with his fingers, casually intertwining our hands as I rested my head on his chest.

"For what?" he asked. "For being the best thing that ever happened to me on this trip." I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "I could say the same thing to you, m'lady." His hazel eyes staring at mine, I can feel myself gulping as my heart pounded from my chest. I am definitely falling in love with him and knowing that I can't breaks my heart.

"So, tour's over and I was thinking I can take you out tomorrow on a spectacular dinner like I promised you." He smiled, caressing my left shoulder. "I can't tomorrow." I said. "Why not?" He asked. "I'm gonna fly back to Oregon. Tomorrow's my Dad's funeral. I don't want to miss it. It'll be the last time I'd be with him." I said getting emotional by the second. I took a deep breath and gave him a weak smile.

"I would love to come with you." He said. "No, Damien. You don't have to" I said, looking at him. "I won't let you go alone, Yen. I can't risk losing you again." His grip tightened but not to the extent that it hurted me. His eyes filled with concern connected with mine and at that moment, I felt safe. I want to kiss him right now.

I gave him a smile. Thank you." I said, kissing him on the cheek. I saw him smile after the kiss and noticed his face turning red. "You're welcome, Yen." He said. He leaned in and I swear this man just read my mind. Is Damien really a psychic? Of course not, but we sure feel the same way towards each other. Once our lips touched, all the emotions pour out. This man makes me feel all giddy inside.
