"Jennifer I'm just not sure I want to go to the dance," Marty said. She had just asked him to the Sadie Hawkins Dance, and it wasn't that he didn't want to go with Jennifer. He would do anything for her. It was that for some reason, thinking about going to a dance made him feel queasy inside.

"Why?" She asked him. They sat down on the bench outside and he told her how he felt about dances after the run in with good old Biff Tannen and the stress of disappearing. Jennifer nodded in understanding. Marty felt bad. He had just turned down his girlfriend, and as they had previously seen, future wife.

"Ahh what the heck. I'll give it a try," he said. Jennifer leaned over and hugged him, then kissed him deeply.

Weeks later, it was finally time for the dance. Marty picked Jennifer up and saw her hair teased into beautiful curls and a purple dress. He kissed her cheek, then her lips briefly.

"You look gorgeous," he said. She smiled and they drove towards the school. When they got there, they walked in to hear music playing loudly. They jumped around and laughed, even leaving the dance floor momentarily to get punch. They walked back and continued to dance. Soon, a slow song was playing and Marty not-so-gracefully tried to turn her into his arms and dip her. She slipped and he barely caught her before she hit the ground. They both laughed and continued to dance. The next song however, changed that. Johnny B Goode began to play, and Marty took a deep breath. They locked eyes and Jennifer saw his eyes widen. Not knowing what to do, she grabbed his face in her hands and kissed him intensely, trying to distract him. Which, it did.
