It's been a few years and Ellen and Alex are back together and married. Alex is telling Andy that he is going to be an uncle. _____________________

"Andy!" Alex called out as he walked into his old family home. He set his bag down and suddenly, heard footsteps coming down the stairs. He turned around and caught his ten year old brother in a hug.
"Alex!" He screamed. "I missed you!"
"I missed you too buddy," he said to the boy. "Are mom and dad home?"
"No, they went to Mallory and Nick's to pick up something," he said. Alex nodded.
"Is Jenn?"
"She's at Chrissy's house," he replied. Alex picked him up and tossed him over his shoulder, walking to the couch and setting the laughing boy down. Alex kneeled down in front of him.
"So Andy," Alex said. "I have some big news, but I wanted to tell you first."
"What is it?" His younger brother asked curiously. "Did you win an award?"
"Not quite. But first you have to promise not to tell anyone until I tell them," he said. He locked pinkies with his brother and slid his hand through his hair.
"I promise Alex. What is it?"
"Guess what Andy. You're gonna be an uncle," he told him. Andy's eyes widened.
"Really?" He asked. Alex nodded excitedly, then sat on the couch.
"Yeah. I wanted to tell you first because I know it's a little shocking. When mom and dad told me about you I wasn't exactly thrilled."
"What did you do?"
"I panicked a little. But once you were born, I knew you were the best thing that could ever happen to me," Alex said. Andy hugged him tightly.
"I can't wait," Andy said, smiling. Alex let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding, then they heard a voice from the door.
"Did you tell him?" Ellen asked from the door. Andy jumped up and ran to give her a hug. She caught him in her arms and smiled.
"Congratulations Ellen," he said. She thanked him and kissed his hair. Alex walked up to them and kissed his wife quickly, before grabbing Andy's hand.
"Come on. Let's go get some ice cream," he said as they walked to the kitchen.
