Borrowing Sebastian [COMPLETED]

Chapter Twenty

I called Tristan first thing in the morning. Today is Sunday at ngayon ko pa naisipang sabihin sa kaniya. I've been busy with Sebastian from Friday kasi. We bond because he's going out of town this Tuesday again. Ang sabi niya, their investors will visit the site in Tagaytay for their final review bago ang signing of agreement. Sebastian was very happy while he told me about it and I can't help but to smile too. The way his face lit, made me question myself kung bakit ako nabigyan ng ganitong klase ng tao.

Maybe, I'm God's servant back then?

Parang tanga lang Kirsten. You can't blame me if ganito ako. I'm just too happy. Overwhelmed on having Sebastian as my man. This first time is too good to be true. Akala ko kasi wala nang nilingon sa akin because all my life, no one even dared to approach nor court me. I don't know. But I am thankful na wala because ngayon ko lang na-realize, that God is just preparing the best for me. He's busy writing our story and now, we are already together and I'm praying to be with him years from now.

"Hello?"

Napatayo naman ako sa narinig ko. Tae, muntik ko nang makalimutan na tumawag pala ako kay Tristan.

"Uh, Tristan."

I heard a moving chair from the second line before I heard his voice. "Yes, Kirsten?"

"About doon sa sinabi mo, sasali ako." Walang paligoy-ligoy na sabi ko.

"Cool. I'm just going to call my members para maayos nila ang lugar mo."

Tumango-tango habang kinakagat ang kuko ko. Ewan, kinakabahan ako. There is something odd about Tristan's voice.

"So, see you in school tomorrow!" I tried to sound jolly as possible para naman mabuhayan siya. Maybe he's very tired for having 24/7 loads to think.

"See you."

I am about to end the call when Tristan called my name.

"Yes?"

"Thank you."

Napangiti naman ako. "Okay lang. Kailangan ko rin naman at pumayag naman si Sebastian na sasali ako."

I heard the line went silent at tiningnan ko muli ito. "Hello? Tristan?"

"I'm here. Sige bye." Then the line went off after Tristan ended the call.

Napano 'yon? Uma-attitude na naman ang Lolo ninyo.

Sumabay ako kay Tatay sa jeep niya nang papunta na siya sa city para mamamasada. He's telling me stories about a random passenger at wala akong ibang magawa kundi tumawa. His story is quiet funny at mejo mahaba-haba rin ang usapan namin ni Tatay dahil halos kalahating oras bago makarating sa university mula sa tirahan namin.

I kissed Tatay a goodbye bago bumaba at tiningnan ang paligid. There are only few students inside the school ground dahil ngayon ang simula ng break. Kung meron mang estudyante, mga kagaya ko nalang na nagpa-part time, or miyembro ng student organizations or 'di kaya mga estudyanteng may hinahabol na grades katulad ni Tristan.

Naalala ko tuloy kung ano ang nangyari sa kaniya at kung bakit siya nawala nang halos isang buwan. He told me na sasabihin niya ako the last time we met so I guess, he'll consider on telling me talaga? Or not?

Dumeretso na ako sa building ng publication at kumatok. Ang tahimik naman dito ngayon. Sinilip ko muna ang gilid ng building para echeck if may varsity ba ng soccer sa ground pero wala.

Akala ko ba, they'll going to practice this sembreak? Sila Joseph kaya?

I heard the door opened at agad naman akong napabalik sa harapan 'nun. I saw the same guy from the last time and he immediately smiled.
