Borrowing Sebastian [COMPLETED]

Chapter Thirteen

I froze on my seat when their group walk closer to where we are sitting. The cafeteria is filled with their laughter and they even teased someone from their group. They are wearing their varsity uniform except for Tristan who's wearing a plain white shirt and I can feel that all eyes are on them. I even saw Mia fix her hair when the group stop near us—occupying the table beside ours. I felt a little nausea while playing with the ketchup on the saucer. I felt someone take a step to our table so I felt my blood drained but immediately pulled myself together after realizing it's Joseph. I forgot na he belonged to the varsities pala. Ugh.

Assuming ka masyado, Kirsten.

"Hey, Clau!" Joseph greeted Claudette but the girl just wave her hands to him because she is busy staring someone from the group of guys beside our table. I rolled my eyes and I saw Joseph leaned on Mia while his right hand is on the back of the mono block—for support and the other one is on the table—with Mia in between. I even heard Mia chuckled when Joseph kissed her on her lips—smack—then he finally, turned his head to where I am sitting.

Shock is evident on his eyes after he saw me, obviously surprised na magkasama pala kaming tatlo. "Hey, Kirsten! Good thing you're with them. Akala namin habang buhay mo nalang kaming iindianin." I just smiled at him a little, confused on what to feel. Should I feel guilty or dismayed dahil sa sinabi niya pero totoo naman talaga.

Mia spank his arms and he groan dahil malakas ang pagpalo niya dito. I slightly smiled when he look at her and she gave Joseph a wide eye but he just chuckled while looking at her girlfriend. "You're cute." He pinch Mia's cheek at nilingon ulit ako.

"Anyway, Kirsten. I thought you're coming yesterday. Everyone's excited for you to come after Mia spilled the news na pupunta ka raw. Pero hindi naman." Napansin ko na his last sentence sounds dismayed and I felt guilty again. I am really sorry for leaving them behind for a year already but now, pinaasa ko ulit sila. It just seem complicated when Sebastian pulled me away yesterday and I totally forgot about the plan.

"Dear, Joseph." Claudette trailed and she gave her full attention to Joseph na nakatingin na ngayon kay Claudette. "Our friend here, Kirsten, got a suitor and ayon! Itinakas kahapon without even telling us—her friends!"

Nanlalaki ang matang napatingin sa akin si Joseph at tumayo nang maayos habang nakatingin sa akin. "May nanliligaw sa'yo?" He shouted at parang gusto ko ulit lumubog sa kinauupuan ko.

Nakakahiya! Kailangan ba talagang isigaw nila ang mga impormasyong nalaman mula sa akin?

I look at the people and they are already looking at us—again. My eyes stop after meeting a pair set of eyes, looking at me straightly with a crease on his forehead. Not long enough, he look away from our stare at kinausap ang kaibigan na nasa gilid niya—totally ignoring my presence.

"Hoy! Tinatanong ka." Joseph leaned to me trying to find my eyes at kinunotan ko naman siya ng noo. "Ano ba?" I asked a bit irritated.

"May manliligaw ka? Sino ang malas na lalaki?" He kidded and I automatically gave him my death glare while Claudette and Mia laugh on Joseph's remark. These people! Nakakagulat na ba talagang malaman na may nanliligaw sa akin? Ang sama lang.

"Babe, the name is Sebastian. And you can't spell his name without 'sin'. Grabe, kung hindi ko lang talaga kaibigan ang nililigawan nun, paniguradong nagkakasala na ako sayo." Mia exclaimed na agad namang nakapakunot sa noo ni Joseph.

"You will choose that Sebastian guy instead of me?" He ask at agad namang napatawa si Mia after seeing Joseph's irritated face.

"Joke lang babe. Ikaw naman. Loyal ako sa'yo, ano ba? Tsaka, Sebastian is just for Kirsten alone. Right?" She eyed me widely at agad naman akong tumawa bago tumango. Ayan, paselosohin mo pa.
