While the human species hide behind sanitised doors
Animals reclaim the streets and parks
Nature comes alive to cleanse the planet
The air is clear of smog and pollution
Skies a vivid blue and the sun shines brighter
Waterways cleaner inviting dolphins to play
As coral beds regain their colour
The sea restores it balance
It's such a shame that all too soon
When we unlock our doors
This brief space of freedom
The animals have claimed
Will sadly end
And humans will once again pollute the earth
