Luna watched Rafa's quarter final match against Dominic Thiem at Nick's apartment, along with Demon, who was as keen to build on his new friendship with Luna as Luna herself, and also Stef and Naomi, who by this time had been knocked out of the Open as well. Naomi was a little more upset than the others were, as she was the defending champion, but she'd been knocked out quite early on, so time had numbed the pain. Luna was the only one who wasn't cheering for Domi, and the rest of them teased her mercilessly about it. The Spaniard was quite capable of holding her own, however, and Nick was the only opponent for whom she'd abandon the lifelong support of her best friend.

It came as a shock to all of them when Domi beat Rafa in four sets, taking the first, second and fourth. Each of the sets he won went to tie break, and it was an incredibly close match. Luna went quiet at the start of the game, and none of the others could draw her into conversation. The brunette could barely believe she was going through this twice in a row - first with Nick, and then with Rafa. That was the problem with being so emotionally invested in two tennis players.

"I should have been there," she muttered, as Nick laid an arm over her shoulder to comfort her.

"He has Xisca there, it's okay, Luna," said Nick.

"I don't know, I just feel bad," she responded, shaking her head, and raising her eyes to meet his concerned gaze. "I didn't think he'd lose."

"Have you missed a game he's lost before?" He asked her.

"Of course," she nodded.

"Don't worry about it then. He can handle it, it'll be fine."

Luna smiled then, and nodded.

"Thank you," she said.

"Hey, Nick, think you'd have beaten Domi?" Asked Demon, interrupting the two's hushed conversation in the corner of the room. Nick raised his head, and shrugged vaguely.

"I don't know man, probably not," he replied.

"You're better on hard court than Rafa tho," he reasoned.

"Well clearly I'm not, considering yesterday."

"One game doesn't define you," Stef piped up.

"Thank you, Socrates," Nick nodded to the Greek sarcastically.

"Wecome!" Stefanos beamed. "And I think you'd have beat Domi, and Sascha, who'll play him next round. But not Djokovic."

"Why not Djokovic?" Nick wanted to know, his voice betraying indignation which made Luna and Demon glance at each other, and smile. "Have you seen my record against him?"

"Okay, let's not go there," Naomi interjected. "Change of subject!"

"Fine," said Stef. "Where are you lot playing after this?"
