ONE WEEK LATER

Luna was regretting telling Nick and Rafa she didn't need a private jet to take her to the Bahamas. The travel time on passenger flights from Melbourne to Bahamas was at least a couple of days. She wasn't prepared for the climb down, however, so, armed with a neck pillow and a stuffed tiger, she managed to survive three plane flights, involving two separate stops in the US, before finally arriving at the airport of her destination at mid morning local time.

She'd expected teasing from Nick, and sure enough, he had the biggest smirk on his face as soon as he saw her. She rolled her eyes, and held her tiger as a protective barrier in front of her face to stop him seeing the blush creeping over her cheeks.

"I told you it's a horrible flight path," was his greeting, pulling the tiger away, and pressing a kiss to her lips as discreetly as possible, considering they were in the middle of an airport.

"Hello to you too," she groaned. "And okay, I'm an idiot, I should have let you give me a jet, but I wasn't ready for the argument between you and Rafa over who's jet it would be, so..."

"Sorry, not sorry," Nick grinned. He wrapped an arm around her, and directed her to the baggage claim. "Hey, I'm really happy to see you."

Luna turned to smile at him, and appreciate the genuine happiness that was reflected in his eyes. She wondered if he could see the same emotion in her own gaze.

"I gotta tell you something important later, okay?" She said.

"Woah, okay," he raised an eyebrow playfully. "Should I be worried?"

"Nah, it's good, promise," was her reply, and despite Nick's curiosity, he was forced to be content with that for the time being.

After collecting Luna's bag, the two of them headed out of the airport to find Nick's car. The Australian's curiosity to know what Luna wanted to say was only outweighed by his excitement of seeing his girlfriend in such a familiar setting as the island he had come to know as home away from home. He had to ask eventually, however, but Luna refused to divulge anything.

"I'll tell you when we get there, okay?" She grinned at him.

"Come on, why can't you tell me now?" He complained.

"Because! Hey, are you... Nick, are you serious?" Luna rolled her eyes, and turned away from the puppy dog eyes that were so adorable they should have been illegal. "This isn't fair," she mumbled. "It will be better if I tell you there, okay? Hey, where's Demon at, is he in the Bahamas?"

"Sick of me already?" Nick teased her. "Demon's here, we'll catch up with him in a day or so."

"Okay. And course I'm not sick of ya," she laughed. "A girl who's bored of London is bored of life."

"What's that even supposed to mean?" He chuckled.

"It means you're as exciting as London," she elaborated. "Or something to that effect."
