"Remus, come on!" I stood up, packing his stuff in his bag, and taking the book I was reading. "I have a brilliant idea! Let's go to the others,"

Remus was confused, but we speed-walked to the common room anyways. We found James and Sirius playing exploding snap, and Peter cheering them on.

"Guys! Come," i whisper-shouted, and sat on the floor, and the four boys sat down after me, making a small circle.

"I was reading a book about Werewolves, and I came across this," I showed them, pointing to the paragraph. They each read it, and looked at me weirdly.

"Okay. And?" James asked, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Werewolves don't harm animals like they do to humans!" I exclaimed, expecting them to understand me. They didn't.

"I don't understand what you're saying," Sirius frowned. I rolled my eyes at their stupidity, and looked around us to see if anyone was listening. There wasn't really anyone close by, but I still whispered.

"We can become animagi,"

Remus raised an eyebrow, Peter looked horrified, and Sirius and James grinned at each other.

"Well, not you Remus. We become animagi to keep you company. And anyways, werewolves can't become them,"

"That," James started, "Is the best idea any of us have come up with,"

"It's the best idea anyone  has ever come up with," Sirius continued, pointing at me. I smirked.

"Of course It Is. After all, came up with it," I flipped my hair.

"Bu..but it's very dangerous!" Remus cried. "Some people tried to become animagi, and it went wrong. It looked horrific. And It's irreversible!"

"Relax, Rem, It will be fine. You guys have me, the smartest witch," I smirked again.

"Oh enough of you cockiness," Sirius rolled his eyes, but grinned.

"Says you," James replied to him, smirking.

"Says you!" I shouted while laughing, and then everyone laughed as well. What can I say, the three of our egos are bigger than each others.

"R-Remus is right," Peter said quietly. "We're only in our third year, and we don't know how to do it,"

James explained how you have to register to become an animagus, but there are some registered and some not registered.

"McGonagall is an animagus. We can ask her," Sirius stated. I rolled my eyes but played along with him.

"Yeah. We'll go to her and say 'So, we want to become animagi to keep Remus company. Can you help?"

We all laughed, imagining how she would react.

"I'll check If there are any books about how we can become animagi in the library," I said, standing up. "But I doubt there would be. Dumbledore had to have removed them,"

"Hold on, I'm coming with you. I'm just going to get something," James said, and hurried off to his dormitory. When he came back, we headed to the library.

"What did you get?" I asked him, an eyebrow raised. He grinned and pulled out something silky from his robes.

"My invisibility cloak. Encase we need to go to the restricted area,"

"Now that's smart," I said, ruffling his hair.

"I know," he smirked.

"Guys, wait!" We heard voices shouting from behind us. We turned around, only to be met with 3 panting boys.

"We...wanted...to...come...with...you," Peter said in between breaths. Remus looked a bit tired, but Sirius didn't look like he ran for a few minutes.

"I'm fit," he smirked, reading my mind. I rolled my eyes, and we continued walking.

"I got the invisibility cloak," James said quietly.

"For the restricted section," Sirius states, knowingly.

"The restricted section?" Peter stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes were wide. I rolled my eyes once more, and flung my left arm over his shoulder.

"Oh Pete," I exclaimed. "You've been friends with us for two years, and you're still not used to us? We live for getting in trouble,"

"There's not a single day that we don't get in trouble," James added.

"Yeah. Nothing's gonna change," Sirius continued.

"Just relax. We'll do the hard work," I said sarcastically, and then jumped on Sirius's back.

"Oi! Jenine!" He shouted, but in a joking way. With me on his back, he ran in circles, all around the castle, pretending we're going to bump into people and then change directions last second, and we forgot about the library.

After running and walking for a while, I jumped off of Sirius's back.

"That was fun. I'll be sure to do it more," I smirked.

"Of course It was," Sirius smirked as well, and rested his arm on my shoulder since he was taller than me.

I then realized that we were alone.

"Did the others really go to the library?" I asked, shaking my head. We went to the library, and checked everywhere.

"There they are," Sirius whispered, pointing at the restricted section. Sure enough, you can kind of see books slightly moving.

"Wait," I said, and then muttered a spell that made us invisible.

"Wicked. And that's a hard spell," Sirius praised me, and I smirked.

"Come on, let's scare them. Stay beside me,". We crept up to where there were sounds and books slightly moving.

"Now," I whispered, and we both tugged on the air, hoping it's the invisibility cloak.

"AHH!!" The three boys shouted, terrified. Me and Sirius burst into laughter, and I removed the spell.

"Merlin, be quiet. Madam Pince ought to come," Sirius said in between fits of laughter.

"You should have seen your faces," I added, grinning. "Remus and Peter jumped at least 3 feet,".

Before any of us can say anything else, we heard a sound coming from behind a bookshelf. Immediately, James pulled the five of us together and threw the cloak over us. Madam Pince appeared looking confused.

"What happened here?" she muttered, picking up a book Remus dropped when we scared them. "Students were in the restricted section. Dumbledore has got to know,". And then she went back to where she came from.

"Come one, let's look for a book about animagi," Sirius told us and we searched. We searched for about 40 minutes but didn't find anything.

"Let's go back to the common room. We searched in all the sections that it might be, but we didn't find anything," Peter said frustratedly. We were all tired, so we went back.
