I heard someone from behind me shout a spell. Thinking it was aimed at me, I dove to my right, which happened to be into a pile of trash. Turns out the spell was for the mysterious man who was coming to me. As the spell hit him, he froze, and fell backwards onto the floor. As i stood back up, I removed the trash that was on me. My nose scrunched up, because it smelled horrible. To my left I heard quiet laughter.

There was a boy around my age with straight but slightly messy brown hair and green eyes. He was around my height, and slightly thin. I looked at him weirdly.

"Why are you laughing? Are you laughing at me?!?" I asked, an annoyed expression on my face.

"Maybe," He replies, smiling. "But not in a rude or mean way. I just found it funny that out of all places, you dove into the rubbish. I'm sorry if i offended you,"

I started laughing. "Oh okay. No, it's fine. I suppose it was funny,"

A man that looked like him but older came and stood beside me.

"You must be the one one who shot a spell at the weird guy, right?" I asked.

"Correct, that was me. I'm Lyall Lupin," He said while extending his hand, which I shook.

"Jenine Hill," I said, again smiling.

"Hmm, Hill. I don't really recognize that name. Are you a muggleborn?"

"Yes. Me, my twin, and my older brother are witches and wizards. My parents aren't though. "

"Well that sure is strange. Normally, only one child would be magical in a muggle family, not all the kids!" He said while laughing.

"Anyways, why are you here alone? No child should be alone in Knockturn Alley,"

"Knockturn Alley! Oops. I was meant to go to Diagon Alley," I told them. Then I explained what happened and how I ended up here.

"We can take you to Diagon Alley, right dad?" Remus asked.

"Of course we can. We better get going though, before he wakes up," Lyall replied to his son, pointing at the stunned man. So we set on for Diagon Alley, which i have been told was very close to Knockturn Alley.

"So, are you going to Hogwarts?" I asked Remus.

"Yes, are you?" He replied, sounding excited.

Yup". I can't wait. My older brother Ryan just finished his first before summer. He always came back home for the holiday telling us how amazing his school was. However, he didn't mention it was magical. We found out on April 3rd, our birthday, with a letter."

"Wow. I knew I was magical for a while now. My dad is a pureblood while my mom is a muggle. That makes me half-blood."

"Umm, I'm not really familiar with those terms,"

"You are a muggleborn. That means you were born from a muggle family. A pureblood is born from and wizarding family, and his whole family and ancestors are pureblood, like mine. If you are half blood, like Remus, either one of parents are magical and the other isn't. For example your mother is a muggle while your father is a wizard. Or, your dad can be a half blood while your mom is a pureblood, etc," Lyall told me.

"Oo okay. That makes sense. Thank you," I told him.

"You're welcome,"he replied. "Here we are, in Diagon Alley,"

The place was magnificent. There were different shops, all kinds of sizes, shapes and colours, for lots of different things.

"JAY!!"

Hearing my family and the Potter family called me from behind, I turned, only to be met by bone crushing hugs.

"I swear if you do that again, Jay," Ryan told me, frowning.

"Yeah, we were all worried! You could have been anywhere, but Fleamont told us you'd be close, so we looked for you," my mother said, worry on her face.

My parents, Fleamont, Euphemia and Lyall all greeted each other, while I introduced Ryan and James to Remus. Lyall told everyone what had happened to me, and they were all even more worried.

"Hmm, probably a supporter of Grindlewald," Mont told Lyall.

"Probably," He replied. "Anyways, we gotta get going. Nice meeting you all. And Jenine, If ever need anything, just send me or Remus an owl, okay? And take care."

I hugged Remus and Lyall goodbye.

"Again, thank you. I don't know what would have happened if you didn't come and save me. I really appreciate it." I said. And then we parted ways.
