-Brooke-
"Have you seen my dress?" I asked Colby. He raised an eyebrow my direction.
"Which one? You have like a thousand."
"The blue one," I answered. "The one you really like."
"Oh! Uh, I saw it recently. Is it in the laundry room?"
"No I checked there," I sighed. "Where did that stupid dress go? Did one of the girls borrow it?"
"I don't know love, but remember, we're moving out in a week, so the house is getting gutted. I'm sure it'll turn up."
I blew air from my lips in a dramatic sigh. "Yeah you're right. Okay, what else NEEDS to be packed today?"
"Most of our clothes are packed, and I've packed my recording equipment since I already have a video for this week and next week. Your instruments?"
"I wanna pack those last considering how fragile they are."
"Then maybe some of your music. I know your office is a little crowded with the files and scores."
"I guess that's true. That's gonna take a while considering how much organization is needed."
He tossed me a box and I managed to catch it. "Probably wanna get started then."
I groaned. "Fine." I hurried out and went to my office. I share this room with Kat for music, it appears most of her music and scores have been packed. She's one step ahead of me.
I looked at my writing desk. The entire thing was littered in score sheets with ideas that never came to fruition. Potential, but ended up not making the cut. I like to keep them though in case I end up coming back to finish them--maybe turn them into a song worth writing. I don't have any albums coming out any time soon though, so I haven't spent too much time in here, except to bug Kat who is trying to finish up her album which is supposed to come out later this year.
Who would have thought that Sam and Colby would end both end up falling in love with musicians?
I connected my phone to the speaker in my office and started my playlist so I had some music as I worked on my office. Most of this can get packed and ready to go. The only thing that I don't want packed are my instruments. They are very fragile and will be in Colby and I's car when we move cause I do NOT trust the movers to take good care of them.
But the day is almost here, moving day is upon us. Everyone in the house is scrambling to try and get everything together and ready. Colby and I did furniture shopping, and it's all set up at the new house. It's just a matter of moving out of this one. We decided to move out at the same time as everyone else just for the sake of spending as much time with them as possible. From what I understand, Sam and Kat are moving in together. May is moving in by herself, but Corey is moving in close by. Jake and Tara are also moving in together over where Sam and Kat are going.
About an hour passed and I had managed to get through most of the papers, organized them, and put them away. I heard the door open and turned to see Kat standing there smiling at me, I smiled back in greeting before turning back to the papers in front of me.
"Organizing and packing?" She asked, sitting next to me on the floor.
"Yeah, trying to get some of this stuff out of the way before moving day," I sighed in answer. I dropped the papers I was holding and turned to her.
"It's gonna be weird. Living in an estate with just Colby and Bentley."
"Think so? Remember at your apartment? You and Colby were already practically living together after your first year of dating. I swear you two never spent time at your own apartments."
