It was day one of Caroline's plan to avoid Klaus and pretend he didn't exist.

Bonnie and Elena had assured her it was for the best and decided to have a girls night, so after caroline dealt with losing Klaus she could meet someone new.

"I just really thought he could've been my epic romance ya know?" Caroline sighed, digging her head into the covers begrudgingly. She was sat in the Salvatore boarding house with Elena and Bonnie and she was currently sobbing about how she had been supposedly used.

"I know Caroline, that's what I thought with Damon! But some things just don't work out like that." Elena cooed, rubbing her friends back lovingly.

Bonnie lifted Caroline's head and matched their eyeline, "Listen to me babes you are the baddest bitch and he is just some stupid boy that didn't understand how amazing you are!"

"I know! I know! I just felt like he did understand. Like he actually knew how I felt! Like we where two lost souls connected!" Caroline shouted, letting Bonnie lift her back to sit upright

"Caroline he wanted you to think that. He's a monster and he's incapable of love. And besides Damon said he had the perfect friend to set you up with! So can't you just look on the bright side!" Elena said, grabbing Caroline's champagne glass and handing it to her, "To stupid boys!"

Caroline and Bonnie laughed and clinked their glasses lightly, taking a sip.

Day two was Caroline's ice cream and mourning day.

Rebekah and April had come over to Caroline's house with ice cream, Taylor Swift CDs, and the entire Friends series on DVD, saying that it was the perfect way to get over someone.

"Honestly I thought Klaus and you would be the next Chandler and  Monica! Or at least the next Rachel and Ross! I can't believe he was using you!" April grumbled, watching as Rachel yelled at Ross that they weren't on a break

"To be fair Klaus has been quite worried about you since you've started dodging his calls and messages, I personally still think you should talk things out with him," Rebekah said, hating seeing her best friend and her brother in so much pain. Personally, Rebekah hated Elena, she always felt like she was selfish and only self-serving. Though with Caroline's emotional state being so flimsy she hardly thought this was the right time to bring it up.

"I know but Elena's right. I'm always the second choice. Why did I think it'd be any different with Klaus!" She grumbled and the three quoted along with Ross

"WE WERE ON A BREAK!" And broke out girls broke out into laughter.

Day three was different.

Caroline had been set up on a date with Enzo, Damon's old friend.

Caroline has already met him the day before and he seemed nice enough. Caroline pulled her hair up
into a bun and put on a dark blue V-neck dress. Walking out the door caroline sighed, no matter how hard she tried she just wished this date was with Klaus. Not Enzo

Caroline walked into The Grill and sat down next to Enzo.

"So I've heard you've got a thing for accents." Was the first thing Enzo said

Caroline laughed, so she knew it sounded weakly since the only accented man she liked was Klaus.

"You heard right, I always did think Merida's dad was a hottie," caroline laughed at Enzo's face

"Who is Merida?"

Caroline's face turned into one of pure intensity as she spoke, "OH MY GOD YOUVE NEVER WATCHED BRAVE? PLEASE TELL ME YOUVE SEEN DISNEY."

Enzo shook his head as caroline drowned out about the difference between Anna and Elsa.

At the end of the dinner, Enzo walked caroline to her door with a smile.

As he leaned to kiss her caroline spotted a pair of yellow eyes in the forest. Moving away from the kiss caroline ran towards it shouting a quick, "Bye Enzo! See you later!" As she did.
