She shivers in anxiety as she pounds at the door. Wants to scream, wants to walk away, wants to yell at him until her voice runs coarse. After too much time replaying the video and mulling over it until she realises she truly cannot understand the situation.

A sleep-addled Sebastian opens the door, giving her the berth to storm into his house. She is mad, she is tired. She wants to cry. He is looking at her with hooded eyes, yawning, occasionally rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"What was that last night?"

Matilde sounds defeated. More than anything else, she's tired. Tired of feeling and being manipulated by those she loves. Tired of fighting of fighting for people who won't fight for her.

"Was that an attempt at getting me to come over? To talk to you?" her arms are flailing wildly at her sides. His back straightens as his gaze, finally focused on her, hardens. "Because if that was the point, then I'm walking away from this. Especially after the entirety of yesterday on the phone with my team and label, trying to fix an issue I didn't create." She's so coiled up with nerves, she doesn't notice the tears running down her face.

"Or maybe this was all because of the song! A song I wrote before we even got together."

Sebastian's demeanor softens. It's as though he hadn't even thought of that possibility until it'd been thrown to his face.

"Management told me to." it's like she's been slapped. Her body goes cold, in shock. She can't understand any potential reasoning behind that. "They figured that if we were to break up, I'd to start the seeding."

She scoffs in a mix of disbelief and desperation. This was never what she wanted.

"Is that what you want? Or was it just management? Because I wasn't looking for a reason to break-up with you." her voice fails her. "I mean... I love you..."

Next thing she knows, she's in his arms, soothing words and coos, hands softly petting her hair making her sobs end.

Things weren't perfect or ideal. But they would be okay, and that was more than they were ten minutes ago.
