I have close to two decades of media training. My publicist is gonna call me in a couple of seconds, curse at me and tell me i need at least another decade.

I don't really care atm. The last couple of months haven't been easy. Imagine your boyfriend breaking up with you because his management suddenly decides you're not good enough, he has already started seeing someone before breaking that to you. And then you have to pretend none of that happened, allow the world to believe you cheated when you never even came close to that. When all you did was close old wounds with someone you cared deeply about.

Then he starts bringing her around. All the while you're told it's your fault, because well you cheated, right?

Music is about experiences and feelings. All Niall did was put our healing process into a song. And I won't allow us to be slandered over that. Especially when we did nothing wrong.

(And anyway, my publicist might be mad but at least my therapist will be proud of me).
