a lone tear falls down her face. her lawyer is somewhat cowering, stuttering as he tries to explain. she beats him to it.
"we have a contract. we do expos and press tours and interviews. we have to share a stage and scenes for three more movies. and marvel is not gonna fire him. my character is far more obsolete than his." her voice lowers into a murmur, that in the silence of the room is heard by all. "if they were truly in my corner they'd have protected me by now. they chose him already, haz."

harry drops on the chair next to her. exhaling in defeat, he grabs her other hand tighter than ever.
