Steve POV:

- Right guys practice is over and I expect to see you guys in 2 days for the big game. This game helps us get into the league so it is important. You guys win the game you are already in the top 20 school teams in the country okay.

All- Okay.

- oh and Natasha I expect to see you tomorrow for your proper try out for the cheer team.

Natasha- Of course!

I still couldn't help but laugh as I saw Natasha still waddling in the bird suit. Gosh she really doesn't back down from anything. I think she caught me laughing because proceeded in trying to attack me. I sprinted down as fast as I could to the double doors to the building checking behind me to see if Nat was anywhere near me and surprisingly she was. What I didn't notice was that the doors were shut meaning I ran into them head first falling onto the floor. Before I could do anything else I opened my eyes to see Nat flying. She had jumped in the air landing on me, making me grunt.

Natasha- I told you I would get you back.

Steve- Yes I know. I really shouldn't underestimate you.

Natasha- Ehh You will learn one day Rogers.

To be fair I was quite surprised that she remembered that night in the cinema. Since I thought she was half asleep but I guess she did.

I generally thought it would have been awkward between me and Nat because of the near kiss moment but it wasn't. Not that I wasn't surprised or anything but I thought it would be a little bit awkward. I walked over to the lunch table and sat next to Bucky who patted me on the back and looked at Tony. He had one of those looks that looked like he was either going to kill someone or was planning something. Tony stood up and I think I was just about to find out.

Tony- Alright losers it's time

Maria- for what Stark cut the crap.

Tony- whoa someone's moody. Anyway so all of you guys know that I had a party right?

Sam- Yes but it didn't happen because of Rogers injury.

Tony- well it actually did so I have decided now to just have a small one just us.

Steve- Thank god.

Natasha- when is it?

Tony- Tomorrow...

Steve- Ok I will be there.

After we all agreed on a time we went down to the field to play a bit of football until lunch ended. I couldn't help but steal glances at Natasha every now and then the was she stands and the way that the light reflexes off of her just captivates me. 

I was knocked out of my thoughts by a football from Bucky. I knew he liked her and I wasn't surprised but with him all over her I had no chance what so ever. everytime I looked over at Wanda I saw the look in her eyes. Bucky and Wanda have liked eachother for years, I genrerally felt bad for her. To be fair Bucky was acting like an idiot. I mean I know he calls himself a ladies man but in reality he just hurts everyone who loves him like family. I mean he has basically tried to date everyone except from Wanda and I can tell that she is devastated by that.

I walk over towards a tree and sit underneath for a while trying to figure out what I need to do. I mean great we have a party tomorrow but I just don't feel like going. Everything that I went through with Peggy is just coming back again and that's how friendships fall apart. Wanda walked towards the tree where I was and sat down trying not to show anyone her tears. I stood up and pulled her into a hug trying to comfort her the best I can. I mean I knew exactly what it was about without even asking.

Steve- Do you want to play with us?

Wanda- Sure that will be fun.

I pulled wanda off of her feet dragging her to the pitch. instead of playing American football we were playing English football. we re did teams and started playing. Wanda is like a sister to me so I am quite protective over her. We played until dawn walking back to our houses in darkness. I could tell Natasha was following me and i'm not surprised considering that she lives 2 streets over from me.

Natasha- Hey Steve, are you okay?

Steve- Yeah i'm fine don't worry about me are you?

Natasha- Yeah of course I am, I just want to apologies for the whole freaking out thing again, it was all of my fault I didn't expect you to hear and then I got nervous and scared and, well, kinda just ran.

Steve- look it's fine don't worry about it Nat. We are fine now okay?

Natasha- Yes.

she said with a smile on her face. her smiles could pretty much light up the world in my eyes. 

Natasha- Well I guess I should go. I will see you tomorrow.

Steve- Yeah see you tomorrow Nat.

I said smiling back at her. Suddenly I got a huge confidence boost and leaned in and placed a kiss on her cheek letting it linger for a while as I walked away back to my house. i could tell she blushed because he face got warmer as soon as I got in contact with it.

I got a weird feeling in my stomach which made me realize I love Natasha Romanoff...
