14.

Steve POV

The party had now died down a bit now and everyone was just chilling Infront of the TV. I mean it was good, well anything where Natasha was was good so you know. We had kind of split into groups now so Thor and the rest of the football team were together and our close friends were together just chatting about random stuff. It was around midnight now and I could clearly see that most people were tired or exleast getting tired so we all hopped back into the limo and drove off dropping everyone else up on the way.

(30 minutes later)

Sarah- How was the party?

Steve- it was good.

Sarah- Did you dance with anyone?

Steve- Just Nat.

Sarah- You too would make so cute babies.

Steve- Really Ma not now! I'm going to bed.

Sarah- Night sweetie.

Steve- Night ma.

As usual the group chat was going mad at this time of night, thanks to Tony and Sam probably arguing about some crap that they argued about earlier so I just turned of my phone and flopped into bed thinking about what the hell happened. Our big game was tomarrow and I couldn't be more nervous for it I mean it was also the first game of me being Captain.

Being the early bird I am I woke up at 5 o'clock meeting Bucky at the front door for our usual morning run. We had only just been getting back into them since the cold winter breeze was disappearing now we were heading into spring. I mean I don't know if you would class the start of April as spring but oh well. The big game was today meaning I had to be ready.

As soon as I got back through my front door I grabbed the porridge off the table that I had made before the run and gulpped it down and set off to school. I could see the gates up ahead when I met with the rest of the group except Natasha wasn't there. It felt weird. All classes were off because of how important this game was and I didn't even see her when we got into form room.

Steve- Hey Maria have you seen Nat?

Maria-  Ummm... Yes actually she was with Wade.

Ahhh yes you probably haven't heard about him yet but Wade Wilson was from Buckley High, our rivals, but why was Natasha with him. I pushed my thoughts to the side and walked through the changing room doors. Bucky and Sam walked up to me patting my back as I sat down revealing positions and game plan to the rest of the team.

Thor was in goal, me and Bucky were strikers and Same was CDM while the rest were spread out in the empty spaces. We placed our hands together and shouted our chant as we made our way to the pitch.

As I was walking out I saw a glimpse of red hair in the middle of the corridor laughing and kissing a man's cheek, I made my self clear by coughing as the one and only Wade Wilson turned around with....

Steve- Nat?!

Natasha- Steve I can explain...

Steve- No look I don't want to hear it. I have liked you from the moment I saw you and haven't been able to get you out of my head, but I have to so go ahead and continue. I am going to go and talk to my team.

Natasha- Steve wait....

I pushed the rest of the thoughts out if my head as I ran as fast as I could to the pitch.

Why! Crap I just told her I liked her!

No Steve the game.

Right the game.

Our team was called out onto the pitch as a loud cheer erupted from around us. The cheerleaders weren't out because of an injury that occurred during practice so we had the drum club instead chanting for us.
The atmosphere was crazy.

The first whistle blew telling us that the match had commenced as we started passing the ball from one another. Bucky lost possession of the ball so the other team were in possession and ended up scoring by sending Thor the wrong way and finishing in the top left corner.
We managed to regain possession as I kicked it down the left wing to Bucky who managed to again finish a goal in top bins.

We went into the second half 1:1 which was nerve racking considering the other team had great defence which they must definitely needed. It was very uneventful until Sam had gained possession on the ball bringing it up the right side as a player from the opposite team wiped him out winning us a penalty in the 89th minute.

I got chosen.

The rush of what happened with Natasha filled my head. Surely she didn't like Wade right....

Steve penalty.

Right right yes penalty.

I took 5 steps back and looked towards the rest of my team who were smiling at me and encouraging me on. I looked at the audience and saw Natasha looking at me smiling but also looking sorry and nervous.

I started running, I striked the ball with a force curving it to the right hand side. The goalie jumped the right way his finger tips connecting with the ball. But apparently not hard enough as the ball hit the back of the net as the final whistle blew. The crowd erupted into cheering but that wasn't what caught my eye.

Natasha.

She was running down the steps towards me as she jumped on me and wrapped her legs around my waist. She grabbed my face and kissed me passionately like she had been wanting to do it for ages. It took me a while to stop being confused and I started to kiss back. She slowly slid back down to the floor and pulled my head down onto her forehead.

Natasha- I like you too.

I didn't need to be told again as I captured her lips on mine for the second time, but this time it was slower and I felt like she generally ment it.

Steve- Well then Natasha Romanoff will you be my girlfriend?

Natasha- YES YES YES

She answered as she once again jumped into my arms.

So they had their first kiss!
