Maria POV:
I needed to get Natasha back to school she has been gone for a week because of the light incident. But she needed to get out even if I pulled her out of the hospital. She is missing so many classes her parents are worried. I walked up to the hospital like I always do. Luckily Sam offered to come with me so we went together. We walked to the front desk to see what room he was in and went straight up. There they were Steve was in a coma and Natasha was right next to him grabbing his hand. How they weren't dating I had know idea. I walked over to Natasha and put my hand on her shoulder.
Maria- Hey...

Natasha- Aghh... Geez sorry I was in a deep sleep.

Maria- wow I couldn't tell.

Natasha- yeah ok be sarcastic, what's up and why is Sam outside as well huh.

Maria- ok I will tell you once you tell me what's going on with you and Rogers. I said looking down at their hands interwined.

Natasha- Maria why are you really here?

Maria- you need to get out of here and come back to school.

Natasha- yes but he...

Maria- saved your life. I know but if he was awake would he want you to miss school and stay here constantly?

Natasha- No

Maria- I have already talked to school and if you come in for half the day you can go at lunch. But you have to go home later!

Natasha- fine I guess your right. I will be out in a minute.

Maria- ok I will be outside.

Even though I was outside the room I could still here what she was saying.

Natasha- please Steve wake up I know it's my fault but I need to tell you something and I would much rather say it to your face so I know you can hear me. What am I talking about you can probably hear me now and I am just making a fool of myself. Maria is making me go since I have missed a week of school but I will be back later. And yes I know what you will say right now, but I am not leaving you for the whole day just incase something happens. This is my fault and I will wait until it's right. I am so sorry please forgive me.

She whispered I knew she did she just never admits it, even to her best friend wow I have a bone to pick with her. I got up and grabbed her by the arm. Not harshly but she needed to get out more. Me and Sam walked her to the car and brought her to school. We all had the same lesson first period so we all went to maths. I knew this was going to be hard for Natasha but I will be there for her always.

Natasha POV:
I know it might sound weird but that was one of the hardest things I had to do. Leave him. What has happened to me. I need to just get on with the day.
- Hey darlin.

Natasha- Hi? Sorry I don't think we have met before?

- Nah we haven't. Names Rumlow.

Natasha- Oh well nice to meet you but this seat is taken.

Rumlow- oh well I didn't ask.

Natasha- well I just told you.

Rumlow- ooooh fisty I like it.

Natasha- I am sorry what!?

Rumlow- awww sweetheart meet me after school.

Natasha- no get lost you don't talk to people like that.

I got up and walked away immediately why is everyone being so stupid today, I had never even met that guy. My phone started ringing and I immediately answered it.

- Miss Romanoff?

- Umm hello

I hung up and ran out of school to my car and drove off
