*RICKY POV*

And as quick as that kiss started it ended, Nini was blushing when we pulled away "wow" she said. and I agreed, our friendship had changed in a matter of seconds and we knew it would be different from now on "I can't come to pick you up tomorrow, Miss Jenn wants me to come early for a final costume fitting for the scarecrow" I told her. "It's ok, I'll find a ride with Ashlyn or Gina, goodnight Ricky," she said and I said goodnight and went back to my car and left to go home.

"Dad! I'm home" I yelled not getting a response, walking into the kitchen I saw a note on the counter 'Off on a date, dinner is in the fridge or you can order pizza. Will be home late' I opened the fridge finding spaghetti and heated it up for myself, as I sat down to eat I did some research for my plan with Nini as well as looking at performances of Wicked I could find on youtube, getting nervous for Friday night. I decided to clean up my room then play some video games before finally going to bed with Nini on my mind.

morning came and it was Wednesday, I had to go to school early due to a final fitting with Miss Jenn and also Kourt since she helped design the costumes. I arrived in an empty parking lot beside one other car. making my way to the auditorium being ready to be poked for the next hour.

*NINI POV*

I woke up in the best mood, kissing Ricky last night felt like a dream and it made me feel giddy inside. I decided to put a little bit of effort into how I looked today with some makeup and then ran down for breakfast. Momma C and Momma D were already at work so I was alone until I heard a car horn. I managed to get a ride from Gina "Hey, is it ok if we get Starbucks on the way?" I asked her as soon as I got in the car and she said sure. we made it to the drive-thru and I ordered my coffee and since I knew Ricky would want one, grabbing one for him as well. "2 coffees?" Gina questioned me "One for me and one for Ricky, he'll want one he's been up early," I told her which got a look and a smirk from her.

"Ok, I have to tell you something and you can't tell anyone since it's killing me inside" I spilled out and she looked at me strange "Me and Ricky might have kissed last night when he dropped me home and it was so good and now I don't know if it's going to be more awkward between us or if it's going to be better." I spat out so quickly I'm surprised she got it all. "What!, omg that's amazing but what are you so stressed about, obviously there are feelings there and I think you really need to talk about it like an adult conversation with each other, you two act like two kids who can't decide what to do with each other like an 11-year-old relationship when you're both 16 and can make decisions," Gina said as she gave me her honest opinion and she was right.

We finally got to school and I went straight to the Auditorium to see Ricky, He was just packing up his bag when I opened the door "Hey" I spoke softly as I entered "Hey" he replied back, "I bought you a coffee since I knew you probably needed it" I told him as I handed him his coffee, he gave me a hug and we left for homeroom as the bell rang.

The day went by slowly and then lunch came finally and we all talked as usual and Gina kept giving me knowing looks and so did E.J. why was I not surprised she told him, that girl can't keep her mouth shut sometimes. Once lunch was over we headed to drama as on Wednesdays we had double drama which meant we would be able to leave early since we didn't need to stay for a rehearsal after school. We managed to do a full run-through of the play and it was finally perfect and put together.

I went home with Gina again since Ricky was hanging with Red for the afternoon. Once I was home I started on my homework and just did that all afternoon before dinner with the family and we had the usual dinner chatter. I went to my room and decided to practice singing defying gravity as I was so nervous to sing it. It finally got to 10 pm when I decided to go to bed, with a smile on my face as before I fell asleep my phone lit up with a text.
