*RICKY POV* It was finally Friday night and I was getting ready to take Nini on our date. I was putting on my dress shirt and it was only 6 but I wasn't supposed to pick Nini up till 6:30 so I just went on my phone scrolling through Instagram and finally, it was 6:15 so I left to go get her. once I arrived I messaged her letting her know I was here.
When she stepped out she took my breath away. the red dress hugged her in all the right places and she looked amazing, I got out running around to the side to open the door for her "Is it cheesy to say you get more beautiful every time I see you" I said to her as she blushed "only cheesy since you said is it cheesy" she responded as she gave me a kiss on the cheek.
We started the drive to the place where I was taking her, it was about 10 minutes from her house and when we pulled up it looked way fancier than I expected.
"Ricky, this place looks expensive are you sure?" She looked at the place then me "Yeah, had to treat you right". We got out of the car and made our way inside once we found a table, we looked at the menu and everything on it we didn't like "should we go?" I asked her as i saw her looking disgusted at everything "I'm sorry, I just hate everything" she said to me looking sad "same here let's go"I said as I grabbed her hand
we left the restaurant after getting a few disgusted looks from other customers and staff as we went back to the car "McDonald's?" I asked her as she smiled "Yes". We drove and got drive thru, I remembered I had a picnic blanket in my car so I stared driving to the lookout near our house
*NINI POV* I felt bad Ricky had planned a date and we didn't even like the place, we ended up getting McDonald's and when we arrived at the lookout it was beautiful the sun was still setting slowly so it was a pink colour. Ricky grabbed the picnic blanket out as we made our way into the park nearby as we sat and ate our food we both enjoyed the silence of being together
"I'm sorry I ruined the date, I didn't know how fancy that place was, someone recommended it" Ricky said to me as I looked at him "Ricky you don't have to take me to some fancy restaurant to prove anything, I'm much happier sitting here eating my food with you in a park, wherever we are it will always be special because I love you and right here right now is where we are meant to be" I said as I smiled to him.
We finished our food and just sat there cuddling each other and enjoying the company. "I love you Nini I always will and I'll never stop saying it even where we're 90 in the nursing home" Ricky broke the silence "I love you too Ricky and I can't wait till then".
"Ricky I have to tell you something" I said to him and he looked scared "Annie came up to me the other day and threatened me and our relationship and said you'd leave me since I won't have sex with you like she would. It freaked me out and even when I stood up to her I was still scared as hell. You'll never pressure me right?"
He looked stunned as I spilled it all out "Nini first I'm proud of you for standing up to her and second I will never leave you because you want to wait and I want to wait until your ready I will never pressure you into doing anything. Sex doesn't define our relationship and it never will. I love you and Annie will never tear us apart It's you and me for infinity baby. He said and I smiled.
"I'm sorry this keeps being an issue in our relationship, I hate that I'm scared for us even after everything. I don't want Annie to ever come in between us again and I don't want anything to tear us apart but I always will be insecure. But your right it's you and me for infinity" I said to him as he listened
"You don't need to be insecure your the most beautiful girl I know and I'm so lucky to have you. no one can tear us apart we're made for each other and everything that's happened and the ring on your finger proves it because the day that becomes an engagement ring will be the happiest day of my life since I'm with the girl of my dreams." He said as I ended up crying.
After our deep chat we decided to pack up and head back home. Ricky dropped me off at my front door "I love you baby, always and forever. Your perfect" Ricky said as we kissed goodbye.
As I went inside I had an odd feeling like someone was watching me but I shook it off knowing it was probably just something dumb. I went on Instagram and noticed Ricky had posted a Instagram and I looked at the caption and smiled.
