Jo's POV

"Look at me mommy! Look!" The little girl yells me me as she's going high on the swings. She can't be more then seven years old, probably younger. Her eyes are a blue-green, and they're so vibrant. It's beautiful. She's beautiful.

"You look beautiful baby girl," I smile and she suddenly screams falling off the swing. I rush to her side, and she cries. I kiss her head, "It's okay baby, you're gonna be okay." I smile, saying softly.

"It hurts mommy, it hurts," she cries and I look at her knee. I take some band aids out of my bag and put one on her knee. She wraps her arms around my neck and I smile, kissing the side of her head.

"Let's go home, we can clean that up and Daddy should be home by then." I smile and she looks at me, a bright smile spread across her face, it reminds me of Hero.

"Daddy's coming home?!" She asks excitedly, but also confused. I move her hair from her eyes and nod.

"Yeah baby, why wouldn't he?" I ask and she looks down, like she's ashamed. "Say what's on your mind baby..." I smile, holding her cheek a bit. It's so soft, she's so beautiful.

"Well... daddy is never with us, he's always working. Jason told him to stay away but he hurts you mommy." She pokes my chest and I wipe the tears that are falling. "And he hurts me... daddy keeps us safe."

I bite my lip, and words come out of my mouth that I don't wanna say. "Jason isn't that bad sweetie." She shakes her head, taking my hand.

"You always say that mommy..." she says and I sigh, walking to the car.

The scene switches.

"Get the hell off of me!" I yell at him and he let's go, grabbing his beer bottle and drinking the remaining half of what's left. More like chugging it. He turns around and throws the bottle at me.

It hits me, and it shatters.

My eyes go wide, feeling some of the glass dig into my stomach. Fuck... my hands clench my stomach and when I pull them away, there's some blood on them.

"Don't touch my Mom!" She yells and Jason grabs her arm. I hear her whimper and I shake my head.

"No! No... do whatever you want to me, just please... don't touch her." I beg and he drops her, coming over to me and pushes me against the wall again. I don't scream, or shout, but she does.

He looks over his shoulder and snarls at her, then turns back to me, his hand going to my neck, squeezing tightly. "You're gonna listen to me right?" He growls and I look at him with glassy eyes.

"I- I can't..." I whisper, not being able to speak much louder. He squeezes tighter, lifting me off the floor. I hear her scream, begging for him to stop.

"I'm gonna do what I did to you all those years ago. How I touched you, how I took you on my bed in Chicago. That's what I'm gonna do to your daughter."

"No..." I struggle to say as I claw at his arms as he holds my tighter. "You're not gonna touch my daughter... you psycho bitch." I start kicks but everything keeps fading in and out. I hear banging at the door. Is someone here?

She moves to the door carefully, making sure he can't hear her. I keep clawing and kicking at Jason. I just want to be free. Free from him. I wanna be with my daughter and Hero. Where the hell is Hero?

Right as I think that, my eyes go fuzzy. Then his hand is ripped away from my neck and I fall to the floor. I hold my stomach, but make sure the glass doesn't go farther into my stomach, but I'm also coughing my brains out.
