Hero's POV
I can't find her.
Where the hell is she?
Is she safe?
Is she hurt?
God I'm losing my shit...
She wants nothing to do with me, but I want everything to do with her. I don't know what to do anymore. I start going back to the seating area, threading my fingers through my hair.
Where is she and why is her shit still here...?
9 hours before...
5pmI look over at Andrew, he's my manager who's explaining nothing. They won't let me out of this freaking car, and no ones gonna tell me why.
We're parked right in front of the hotel, somewhere in the middle of Chicago. I glance at him, as he's still on his phone doing god knows what.
"So... why can't we go in?" I ask, wanting to get my ass out of this small cramped space. It was hard being on the flight with Jo. We were so close together yet it felt like we were miles away.
I just wanna kiss her.
Finally Andrew looks up, sighing a bit. "You know why, Hero..." he say and I look at him like he's a dumb ass.
"No, I don't actually because no one is telling me anything." I snap back, only prompting him to sigh again.
He looks away from me as he speaks. "She... she doesn't wanna be near you. Hell she threw a fit when we told her Melody was gonna go with her. She wanted to go by herself." He simple explains, her it feels like a dagger is stabbing me repeatedly in the heart.
I take a deep breath, looking out the window to see her in time. She looks beautiful, like she always does. She's tired, I know she is from the way she's brushing Melody off like she's a rug in a old broom closet.
Fuck I wish I didn't get drunk that night, this is all my fault. Instead of being happy with her, going into the hotel with her, I'm here in a limo waiting for her to be done.
I groan, and Andrew looks at me. It's clear that I'm frustrated, and I don't know if there will be a time where I'm not anymore.5:24 pm
They tell me I can go check in, and that it should be quick since they already did Jo's. I wish I was with her, or near her, but instead we're three floors apart.
Fucking great.
After the check in person takes what feels like hours to do her job, I'm finally on the elevator up to my room. "You gotta start getting ready," Andrew says as I lean on the back handle in the elevator.
I look over at him, for a second, "Why? Where the hell are they already having us go?" I ask bitterly, no matter how much I wanna see Jo, I'm exhausted from my day of traveling.
I take the card that's a key and scan it against the door. I drag the bags I have in and Andrew goes down the hall to put his bag down. The guy with our bags is taking too fucking long for my liking.
A few minutes later, a knock comes to my door. Finally. I go and open it, seeing my bags and a guy with a big fucking grin. "Are you Mr. Fiennes Tiffin?" He asks, still fucking grinning.
I nod, "uh- yeah." I say opening the door more so he can bring the stuff in. "I'm Jason, it's nice to meet you." He says still smiling. It's getting fucking annoying.
"Yeah nice to meet you too..." I say and rub the back of my neck. "By any chance... have you dropped stuff off to Josephine Langford yet?" I ask. It's a long shot but maybe... maybe I can give Jo a note.
