It's the next morning and Cassie is left reeling after the event of last night. She doesn't plan on going to work or leaving her bed. She should make things right but she doesn't know-how. Emily won't answer her calls or texts and she won't dare to call Jason's after how much she hurt him. No one may answer her call but there's always 1 person will.

"Hey Mom, before you ask any questions, please tell me where Emily is staying."

Her Mom gives her the address of the place where Emily is staying. She takes a deep breath before knocking.

"Room Service"
"Come in."

Cassie reluctantly walks into the room and Emily looks at her.

"I guess you found me. What do you want? You want to tell me how perfect my life is or how broken?"
"I know I keep saying sorry. But I really am sorry, I should've paid more attention to you and I can keep apologising to you every day and it might fix things but I hope you know, Em, I love you and I wish I could've been there for you. But I guess it's too late."

Cassie turns to leave but Emily stops her.

"Cassie, stop."

Cassie turns around.

"Yeah."
"I'm sorry, too."
"But you didn't do anything wrong."
"I should've tried harder and all these years I thought it was you who created the rifts but I never even tried to get passed it. So if you're saying sorry... then I should too. Sorry."

The sisters hug as tears stream down their face. Finally, they have gotten past their differences. Cassie and Emily talk for a while- Emily tells her what happened at her College, just when Cassie has an idea. Working non-stop for years had some perks at least, this meant she knew the best lawyers among other people.

"Okay I've called someone, there's going to be a case but it's as good as done. This means you're going to the formal."

Emily shrieks in excitement as she hugs her sister, the talk of her formal has reminded her of something.

"If you're going to a formal, you're going to need a dress."

Cassie takes the dress out her bag and tries to give it to Emily, along with her memories, no doubt. But Emily doesn't take it instead she pushes it back to Cassie. Time to put the opposites back together.

"No Cassie, you should keep the dress."
"I can't, it reminds me of last night... and"-
"Him? Cassie, I wasn't kidding when I said you two have something. You have to fight for him if you really love him or else you'll see him in 10 years, with a wife and kids, the whole Shabang and then you're going to be the one in drowning in regrets. Do you want that?"
"You're right I don't want that."
"So go make it right. You can't let him go that easily."
"You know what you're right!"

Cassie runs out of the room. Time's running out before it actually too late. Yes! We've got this going again! Cassie now grabs a cab. She can't sit still, she's fidgety and nervous. Closing her eyes, she takes a deep breath. However, this makes her more nervous because when she closes her eyes, she sees him and all the memories of them together. They know each other not that long by the way he makes her smile and laugh. How when they make eye contact, the world seems to stop. When she opens her eyes, a tear leaves her eyes. It didn't matter that they were different. It didn't matter that they chose to hide feelings. None of it mattered. But the realisation that she could lose him was difficult... she wouldn't know what to do. So now she's ready to commit to her feelings. She could even tell it out of this cab... though that would be a little weird. But she is ready and that's all that matters.

Jason's doorbell rings. He goes open the door to find no one... he looks around before closing the door for the doorbell to ring again. This time when he opens the door to find a box of doughnuts on the doorstep. Now Jason knows who it is, I know who it is, you know who it is.

"Cassie take your box of doughnuts and leave, wherever you are!"

No response. Jason looks around again. Not a person in sight. He picks up the box of doughnuts and closes the door for it to ring once again. Jason opens the door expecting no one there but almost walks into Cassie on the doorstep. Faces inches apart before Jason moves back. Cassie looks at Jason who still seems hurt.

"Hi."

She can't believe she's actually doing this right now.

"Cassie, whatever you're about to say"-
"Please, I won't take long... just a few minutes then I'll leave if you want me to."

Jason looks like he is ready to listen to Cassie.

"I was selfish. I didn't listen to you... I haven't treated you right since we met... but yesterday you said you loved me. I don't know if you still do but..."

Jason listens intently as Cassie struggles to get her words out. Cassie's eyes start tearing up as she knows it's now... or... never.

"I know you and me, we're so different and I don't know what it's about you that makes me feel so safe...and so loved, but... I love you Jason... so much, I tried so hard but I fell for you... I wanted to tell you yesterday, in fact, I should have but I couldn't get the words out and before I knew it... it was too late. I wish I stopped you from walking and maybe we wouldn't be here right now."

Jason's eyes soften as she continues.

"I know you felt upset about how I doubted you yesterday and I don't blame you... I know I've made a lot of mistakes and I don't expect you to forgive me for any of them. As I spent more and more time with you... it was harder not to fall in love because you are such an amazing person but more than anything you have such a big heart. Any girl would be lucky to have you... even if it's not me. I also... understand if you never want to see me again... but frankly... Jason, I don't know how I'm going to live without you."

Well, she did it at least. Cassie turns around and walks away from Jason, crying. It's over... wait... there's someone behind Cassie. IT'S HIM!

"Cassie wait!"

Jason takes Cassie's hands, face inches apart, as he breaths heavily. To be fair he had run an entire block just to catch up to her but go on Jason!

"Cassie, I couldn't let you leave... I couldn't make another mistake like yesterday. When I walked away from you, my heart was telling me to go back and I almost did but I was scared of giving in. I'm not scared any more..."

They're stuck in this moment- everything is at standstill. We did it, Ladies and Gents. They're finally-

"Before we continue this, Jason... there's something we need to do."

Oh, come on! Can't we have 1 unfinished moment, what does she want to do now? Typical.
