Let's do it again!

"Okay, let me get this straight. You went to the mall, met Officer Kim, went up an escalator to the second floor, stayed on the second floor for a while, got scared at some mannequins, went up to the third floor, visited the jewellery store, visited an antique store, noticed a bunny mug, went back to the jewellery store, broke the door handle, tried on a ring, the ring got stuck, you lost your own ring, left the jewellery store, paced up and down for a bit, heard "scraping", went back to the jewellery store, met V, the criminal I couldn't find for 5 years, fell in love with him and let him take your ring and just leave, without, you know, arresting him?"

"Uh, well...yes, that's what happened."

Yoongi sighed. 

"Jungkook, I...To be honest, I really don't know what to say."

Jungkook gulped. 

"I'm not...fired, am I?"

"If I may interject", said Namjoon, pulling the burglars slightly forward, "We also did catch these two. Jungkook and Jimin were a big help actually."

"If I may ask", said Yoongi, eyeing the two burglars, "Why is it that the storage spaces aren't monitored?"

Now it was Namjoon's turn to gulp. 

The elder looked rather intimidating, staring Namjoon right in the eyes. 

"Well, since the storage spaces are more easily accessible through the back doors, those are the doors with motion detectors...I actually don't know how they got in."

"...I have a wrench", said Jin, sticking his head out from behind Namjoon, "And I'm tall enough to reach the detectors...Knocking them down was pretty easy, actually!"

"Hyung, why is it that I'm not allowed to talk, when you say stuff like that-"

"Because I'm older than you!"

The two started bickering again for what seemed like the millionth time that night.

Chaos then ensued, everyone talking over each other.

Namjoon: "Guys, calm down, you'll have plenty of time to fight when you're in jail-"

Jin: "What's it to you?!"

Hoseok: "He's right, why do you always come after me? I think-"

Jin: "It doesn't matter what you think!"

Namjoon: "Why can't you just be quiet..."

Jimin: "Hey guys, be quiet, you're upsetting Namjoon!"

Jungkook: "I can't believe I'm actually getting fired..."

Hoseok: "See, you're upsetting his boyfriend now, too-"

Jimin: "I'm not his boyfriend!" 

Jungkook: "I can't get fired, where else am I gonna work, what do I-"

"Everyone, shut up!", yelled Yoongi. 

The room fell silent. 

"Look, no one's getting fired, Officer Kim, can you take those two out into the hall, they're giving me a headache, Jimin, you're the reddest I've ever seen you, I don't have a point about that, it's just funny."

Namjoon obliged, smirking about that last part. 

Jimin looked down, blushing even harder.

Jungkook breathed a sigh of relief. 

"You two are idiots", said Yoongi, once everyone else had left. 

The two boys nodded. 

"But I knew that from day one. You know why I hired you?"
