A secret and a promise

This one is quite long, but I hope you read it to the end! I had a lot of fun writing it.

Jimin and Jungkook sat in the car, ambient music playing from the radio. 

"So, like...what's the plan exactly?", asked Jimin. 

"Hmm?"

"Are we all just going up to the room together? Or just one of us...or two?"

"Are you asking if you can be alone with Namjoon, hyung? Cause if you are, you can just say that", said Jungkook, smiling devilishly. 

"No, I-I mean, I just wanted to know where I should go, and-"

Jungkook chuckled, "It's okay, hyung", he said putting his arm around Jimin, "it's okay if you like him!"

Jimin sighed. 

"Okay, maybe I like him...a lot. Then what do I do?"

"Then you tell him."

"But what if he doesn't like me? Then what?"

Jungkook pulled away. 

"You really think he doesn't like you? Hyung, what world are you living in?"

Jimin looked surprised. 

"You think he likes me?"

Jungkook nodded, smiling.

"It's obvious!"

Jimin smiled, a blush evident on his face. 

"Oh..."

Jungkook shook his head slowly, "You've really got it bad, hyung."

Jimin lightly shoved the younger with his free hand.

"Hey, Jungkook...You might get to see your crush again, too! Maybe you'll even get your ring back, and-"

"Oh!", said Jungkook, interrupting Jimin, "This is my favourite song!"

He turned up the volume and began singing wildly, drowning out the elder's voice.

Jimin smiled, shaking his head. 

The two arrived at the mall. 

As soon as they got out of the car, they felt rain. 

"Excellent timing", said Jimin, not too happy about getting wet.

The two rushed to the mall entrance, water splashing at each step. 

The sky was a deep blue, almost black, and mixed with the rain hitting their faces, the boys were almost completely blind. 

They somehow made it to the door safely, almost slamming against the glass. 

Jimin knocked on the door, desperate to leave the cold. 

The door quickly opened, and Namjoon ushered the two inside. 

"I would've kept it unlocked had I known it was going to rain", he said, looking concerned. 

"It's okay, we weren't waiting for long", said Jungkook, wiping the water from his face. 

Namjoon nodded.

"So, are you two ready? We probably have a long night ahead of us."

"Yes", said Jungkook and Jimin. 

"Should we all go up then? Or do you two have a different plan?"

"Well, Jungkook never actually told me what the plan was...", replied Jimin, somewhat embarrassed.
