Jungkook's POV

Jungkook and Junghwa anxiously watched as V dialled Hyojin's number. 

The two exchanged a quick look before turning back to V. 

"H-hello?", the boy asked, raising his eyebrows as he pressed the phone to his ear. 

"Oh- Hi! Hyojin, it's Taeyhung."

Jungkook smiled. He'd come to like the boy's real name much better than his secret identity. 

"Yea, well...Actually, a lot has happened since then. I'm with- Oh, she's on a date? What about Yejun? Oh...I'm sorry to hear that...I- What? It's the fifth guy since then? Well... could that wait a second? I have something very important to tell y- I understand but it's- No, it's about Junghwa."

The two heard the other line go silent. 

V suddenly raised his eyebrows again at the now much more quiet voice coming out of the phone.

"Yea, sure I can hold but make it quick-"

Junghwa and Jungkook heard a beep and V's grip around the phone became tighter. 

"What happened?", asked Jungkook, "What did she say?"

"Apparently Solji's having a date emergency. She's been texting Hyojin and now she wants her to make an excuse for her. Poor Solji...She dated so many guys during the time I was with them. When she met Yejun, he told me he thought she was the one. But with Solji there's always something wrong..."

Junghwa laughed sadly, "Reminds me of my mother...Every man she dated, there was always something wrong with him. I really think it was her, not them..."

V took Junghwa's hand. "Junghwa, I promise, Solji's nothing like your mom."

Junghwa smiled, "I believe you." 

Suddenly, the phone rang again, and V quickly pressed it to his ear again. 

"Hello? Hyojin? Hi! Oh, no, that's fine. Yea, well, the thing is...I'm actually with Junghwa right now...At the police station..."

The two heard a loud noise on the other end. 

"Don't worry, nothing bad's happening! I- Hyojin, calm down, let me explain. I met an officer, Jeon Jungkook, and he helped me talk to her. Yea, no- No, trust me! Everything's okay. They're all going to help me, us, with the plan! No, nothing's wrong with me, it's fine, it- Well, that's the thing, we needed you four to come down so we can plan everything...What? Tomorrow? O-okay, I'll ask and then call you back. Bye- What?"

Whatever Hyojin had said caused V's cheeks to turn bright red. 

"Uh...Yes, v-very in fact...But that's not the point, trust me! Yea, I'll ask...Okay, bye!"

Jungkook and Junghwa looked at V expectantly. 

"They...want us three to go over there tomorrow. So they can meet you, and decide if they trust everyone enough to come down here. They want to help, but...I mean...I can't blame them for being skeptical."
