Chapter 14- First Look at My Dress

"Temperance! Adrian! What the hell is this?!" I faintly heard Miranda yell when she almost broke down our door.

"What do you want Miranda?" I said in barely a whisper.

"Wake up and tell me what the hell is this!"

"What is what?" i said getting up lazily.

"Temperance! Put some clothes on!" She yelled at me.

"Alright I'm sorry. I didn't know I was undressed!" I yelled back now that i was fully awake with all the yelling.

I grabbed a robe off a hanger in my closet and put it on.

"Great, now can you walk with me over to the balcony?"

"Yeah sure." I said while rubbing the sleep out my eye.

We walk out to the balcony and I see both mine and Adrian's clothes all over the floor.

"What is this?" She pointed to the ground.

:Oh... uh... that is um clothing on the ground"

"I know that!! I want to know why is it here. What did you two do last night? You know waht, don't answer that." She inhaled and exhaled. "We leave you two here alone for the night, and that's what you do?! Can't you two be responsible?!"

"Stop yelling at me Miranda! Jeez, I'm eighteen! I can do whatever the hell I want. I am an adult. Why can't you trust us. Your brother is Twenty-four years of age and you can't trust him?! I answered back annoyed. "Why do you and Terence act like you're my parents? New Flash, my parents are dead! D-E-A-D, DEAD! No one will ever replace them!"

"We are all you have close enough to be your parents, so shut up and appreciate! Stop treating me with disrespect! She yelled back at me.

"Both of you shut up, people are trying to sleep! Tempie, you can't be puitting Miranda under stress. Miranda, she's right, you will never be her mother or anything close to it. Stop trying to be, you will have a kid of your own soon enough." Andrew said.

"But we're the ones paying the rent for this beautiful place for you to live in." She said back teary eyed.

'No you don't!" I yelled back at her.

"Yes I do!"

"No, my brother is the one who pays the bill for this apartment. You just stay in that house that you two have in New Jersey. You don't for what you have now!"

More tears rolled down her face, but she just turned away and walked back into the kitchen.

"temperance, calm down please." Andrew said to me.

"No, she should understand that we are all adults here. She can't be forbidding us to do anything. It's our lives, not hers, or anyone else's. If we make mistakes, then we'll deal with it. I answered back somewhat calm.

When we finished talkin, I went over to the bedroom, took a nice relaxing shower and got dressed.

"Babe, Miranda sai-"

"Miranda said nothing!"

"What the hell? Breakfast is ready. That's all she aid." He said calmly.

"Oh okay. I'm sorry Adrian. I didn't mean to yell at you."

"It's okay. What's going on with you and Miranda?"

"Nothing, I'll explain later." I said.

We went out to the balcony again and ate on the table that someone pulled out of the closet. Clothing no longer laying around.
