The world changed for you and me both

Chapter 3

Chase pov: 

It's 11:58 pm and I am waiting for the name to appear. It will appear at 12:00 midnight. I've been laying in bed staring at the ceiling with my heart beating fast from nerves. 

The minutes feel like hours. I grab my phone off of my table. 12:00 midnight has finally come. I pull my sleeve up and there is nothing there. 

"Oh come on so now you're telling me I don't have a soulmate?" I whispered. 

Just when I thought it was over a letter appeared. C. 

What is wrong with it?  Only one letter is appearing. So many girls have the letter C as their first initial. Even char- my thoughts were cut off by more letters appearing. 

All the sudden my eyes felt heavy and my body felt tired. I collapsed down on my pillow, and with that I was asleep.

Morning

I opened my eyes slowly. Was it a dream? I looked down at my wrist and it was still there. Clear... crystal clear. C-H-A-R-L-I

I grabbed my phone without thinking and headed to charli's contact. 

I was right about to press FaceTime when my phone started buzzing and Charli's name was on screen. She was FaceTiming me? Why?

I answered and as soon as I did I saw tears coming down her cheeks. 

"Charls? You okay?" I asked. Seeing her cry made me want to cry.

"Chasey? I'm sorry. I'm a mess, I miss you to mu-" I cut her off.

"I miss you too." I said with a soft smile. The first smile I've had in a while.

"Charls, I need to tell you something."

"Okay, Chasey." She said. The tears had stopped and she was looking at me with her cute little brown eyes. 

"It's you."

"What do you mean?" She asked tilting her head to the side a little bit.

"I mean... your name appeared on my wrist."

"It... did?"

"Yeah, its in bold letters."

I held up my wrist so she could see and her eyes lit up. 

"Chase what does this mean?"

"I guess it means your my soulmate."

"I guess it does." She said with a smirk.

"Charli D'amelio will you be my girlfriend?" I asked. As I asked her cheeks started blushing.

"Chase Hudson, I would love the honor to be your girlfriend."
