Chapter 30

Charli pov:

I felt a hand cover my mouth and then a punch. My eyes opened and I gasped. I saw Chase sitting next to me. I was connected to machines in a... hospital? I had a hospital gown on and my hands were shaking in Chases.

Chase pov:

I was speaking to Charli and telling her how much I loved her when I felt her small hand move in mine.

"Nurses come quick! She's waking up!" I yelled.

She sat up quick, her eyes were wide and now her hands were shaking and the look on her face scared me so much I could of cried right then and there but I had to be strong for her.

"Charls. It's alright." I said quietly while rubbing my thumb gently on her hand.

"What happened?" She said trembling.

"You fell down stairs and hit your head really bad. You've been a coma for a day."

"But, wheres Cynthia?" Charli asked scared.

"Cynthia? We haven't seen her in a long time what do you mean?" I responded confused.

"Was it all a coma nightmare?"

"I guess you could say that. Charli what exactly happened?" I asked.

"Well Cynthia showed up at my house at midnight and she showed me a text saying that you were cheating on me and going back to her. Then I ran away and you found me and we made up and were walking back to my house when someone punched me and now... I'm here."

"Whoa whoa whoa baby. I'm so sorry you had that nightmare... it must of been really scary. I won't ever cheat and you know that. I love you."

Charli pov:

"I love you to." I responded still shaking a little.

The nurses came in and fixed my machinery and checked my heart rate.

"Good news. Everything is okay. I understand you have a flight planned and more good news is you still are allowed to go on a plane!" The nurse reassured me.

"We will have you stay a few more hours just to make sure you are ok. You also can have some pain medicine for your headaches you might experience."

"Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. " I said gratefully.
