(Quick side note: Hi! I am introducing new povs in this chapter from now on! I hope it makes the book even more interesting. The book is still about Charli and Chase but in the prospective of some other loved idols as well as Charli and Chase! Thank you!)

Nick pov:

Ever since Charli had come Chase had been so happy. None if us had seem him like that for a while. It scares me a little though. What if it doesn't work out? What will chase be like without her? The same guy he was last time?

I walked over to Chase at mini golf and he smiled at me.

"Hey dude." He said.

"Mind if I steal you away from Charli for a bit?" I asked.

Chase looked at Charli and she smiled and said it was okay.

"Yeah man, of course!" Chase said.

I pulled him aside.

"Chase, i'm worried about you."

"Why bro?" Chase asked.

"Cause your mood has changed drastically and what if you get hurt. What if you go back to the ways of isolation and sleeping way to often?"

"Wait, Nick you don't believe in my relationship with Charli?" He said and I could see anger rising.

"No no no, that's not what I said. Dude you know I-"

He cut me off "Don't dude me. You don't believe in me, I guess I thought you were someone else." He said walking away furious.

Chase totally misunderstood what I was trying to say. I wanted to cry. He's my best friend, and he never gets mad that easily. Maybe something happened that I don't know about.

I looked over at him and he was looking down frowning. He was very mad, and that was obvious.

Why did I want to cry so much. I guess Chase and I don't really fight. We have been best bros. I didn't know what to do with him being angry at me. I know Chase and when he's mad it's best to leave him alone.

I felt tears in my eyes and ran out of the mini golf area. I sat outside on a bench trying to calm down. Chase would normally help me. But he's one of the people I can't talk to this time.

I was crying on the bench when I heard footsteps. I looked up and Ryland was standing there.

"Hey dude. What's wrong?" He asked with concern in his voice.

"Chase is mad at me because he misunderstood what I was trying to tell him."

"Oh bro, I'm sorry. Need to talk?"

"Nah, I'll be good I just have to talk to him later. When he's not this mad."

LATER THAT DAY

I approached Chase and he looked away from me.

"Hey, I want to say-"

"You know what... save it, You messed up dude. You don't believe I can have a stable long lasting relationship."

"That's not what I was going to say."

"Well, it seemed like you didn't believe in me." Chase said walking away.

He can't be this mad still. I looked over and Chase wasn't there. Where did he go?

"Guys! Did anyone see where Chase went?" I asked frantically.

No one saw where he went and that's when I saw the front door was left open.

We all ran outside yelling his name. I looked around. Wait... Where's Charli?
