The world changed for you and me both

Chapter 13

Charli pov:

"What do you mean?" I yelled.

"She isn't in the house."

My face was burning and I started sobbing uncontrollably. Dixie was the best sister I could ask for and I couldn't stand the thought of her being missing.

I stumbled out of the pool drenched in water a grabbed my towel and started running to the gate.

"Charli!" Chase yelled.

I kept running.

"Let me come with you." He yelled to me.

I stopped running and soon Chase was by my side. We were running together and he grabbed my hand.

This would of been romantic if my sister wasn't missing and I wasn't still sobbing. The way he grabbed my hand was an "It will be okay" A reassuring grab.

I stopped. "Chase. How do we even know where she is?"

"I don't know baby... actually I have an idea." He said holding his phone.

I could see his hands were shaking but he was trying to be strong for me.

Chase pov:

I had my phone in my hands when I realized. Dixie might have her phone with her to. Find my friends!

Charli said through tears "Baby, you don't have to try to be tough for me. I know how brave you are." She must of seen my hands shaking.

"I know. We will figure this out, you know why?"

"Why?" She asked with her tears slowing down slightly.

"Find my friends. If she has her phone we can track where she is!" I told her.

She had the slightest smile and I could tell it wasn't of happiness it was because she was grateful to have me by her side.

I pulled up find my friends and there was Dixie's name on the map. Oh boy. She wasn't even moving. I refreshed it and she was still in the same exact spot. Hadn't even moved a tiny bit.

She is in trouble, I thought.
