Charli pov:
Cynthia was at my door! WHAT THE HECK. It was midnight. What is she thinking?

I didn't open the door. I ran upstairs to get Dixie. I opened her door and woke her up.

"DIXIE!"

"What? It's so late! Why are you waking me up?" She asked sleepily.

"CYNTHIA IS HERE AT OUR DOOR KNOCKING. I THINK SHES HERE FOR CHASE!" I said freaking out.

"Charli it will be ok. Where are mom and dad? They can handle this." Dixie reassured me.

I rant to my parents room and they weren't in there. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Where are they? Oh they were going to a hotel for the night to celebrate their anniversary!

By the time I realized they weren't there Dixie and griffin were up and heading downstairs.

"I've got this." Griffin said.

"Griffin calm down!" Dixie whisper screamed because she didn't want to wake up Chase.

"No one hurts chase, I'm telling her who's boss." He walked downstairs and opened the door heading out and closing it behind him.

"Charli it's not a good idea to go out there." Dixie said.

"Well watch me. I love chase and no one hurts him." I said closing the door.

I saw Cynthia standing there with her fake smile plastered on her face.

"Cynthia what the heck are you doing here?" I asked strongly.

"Oh I'm just here to get my boyfriend."

"Griffin?" I said messing with her cause she was clearly talking about my boyfriend.

"No dummy. Chase! Hasn't he told you? He said he would brake up with you so he could be with me. How do you not know this?"

"I don't know maybe because YOU ARR LYING!" I yelled a little.

"Oh well how do you explain this?" She said holding out her phone with texts from Chase.

"No. It couldn't be." I stuttered.

"Well sorry hunny. It is. Truth hurts I know. But the truth is he wants me, a successful young woman who isn't afraid to face her fears."

The door opened and I turned to hug Dixie but I looked and chase was standing there confused.

"How could you?" I screamed at chase.

I turned around with tears in my eyes making it blurry. I started running. I didn't know where I was going but I wasn't about to talk to him, a cheater.

Chase pov:

"Charli! What did I-" but she was already gone though. "Do?" I finished.

I looked and Cynthia was standing there. I grabbed her phone and there were texts supposedly from "me."
"WHAT THW HECK CYNTHIA?!" I yelled furious.

"I DIDNT SEND THOSE AND YOU KNOW THAT!" I yelled.

"Yeah but she doesn't." Cynthia said smirking.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY." I yelled.

"Oh no. Chasey you aren't going anywhere. Not yet." She started to lean in to kiss me but griffin pushed her so she couldn't reach my lips.

"Stay away." He said furious.

"Ouch Griff. Well since you are here let's put on a show." She said coming in to kiss him.

I shoved her just like griffin had done for me.

"Get out of our faces!" I yelled.

I ran past her and kept running. Tears were in my eyes but I needed to find Charli and tell her the truth.
