Chapter 3, Boom...

*No one's POV*

Hoseok and Jimin were getting stressed out for their animal friends. The whole day, their parents were no where to be seen. 

Hoseok traveled the halls on his own more than he usually does, he wanted to see if he could get any information from the staff members but they were acting stupid. He walked past his parents rooms, seeing the cracked door and put his ear to it.

"They're starting to get a head of us, we can't let them get this before us," his mother said and Hoseok didn't like where it was going.

"Yeah, but how much have they hurt the animals? How many have died? We don't want to hurt our animals," his father said with a sigh. "We might have no choice though, we've worked too hard for this to be taken away from us."

"So we agree, to up the dose of it tonight?" his mother asked. His father hummed and Hoseok had heard enough, taking off down the halls to get to his room. Once in the room, he slammed the door shut to gain Jimin's attention who was reading a book.

Hoseok scrambled around the room, trying to find something and smiled when he had his hands on it. 

"Jimin, we have to get the animals out of here," Hoseok said throwing a rope to his little brother. 

"What? But where can we take them?" Jimin asked throwing his legs over the bed and holding the rope.

Hoseok pointed up as he got Jimin's shoes and placed them on the younger's feet. 

"We're going up to the surface," Hoseok said and Jimin's face turned. They haven't been to the surface since they were babies, so it was like an unknown world for them. Jimin hated it when it came to new things so going up the surface scared him half to death. 

But he followed his brother as they made their way to where their animal friends and were determined to take them away. On their way, Hoseok noticed a lot of people going in and out of the room now noticing that they wouldn't be able to get in.

Jimin had the idea of going to the 'garden' and kill some time there. So with a hand print scan from Hoseok they entered their custom made garden. It was full of cherry blossom tress and a waterfall in the middle with streams going around the room, a small bridge at the start of the path. A large patch of grass was next to a tree with a bench,

The small blond one took a seat first, putting his rope to the side and reaching up to catch the falling cherry blossoms. Hoseok leaned against the tree, thinking on how the surface is going to be. Will it be like this fake place? Or will it be bright.

"I'm scared Hobi," Jimin said and fumbled his hands. "What if mama and papa get mad at us? What if we're found with them?"

"We'll be fine," Hoseok said and sat down grabbing the younger's hand and held it tightly. "Trust me, if they get angry I'll make sure you're not in any bother. The animals will be safe as will you."

Jimin smiled as he leaned into his brother, closing his eyes and thinking of the world above.

Hours past, Jimin ended up falling asleep on Hoseok's lap as the older was running his hand through his hair. He didn't want to wake Jimin, but it was getting late and most of the staff should be in their bed. With a gentle shake, Jimin started to stir as he pushed up rubbing his eyes.

Looking at Hoseok, he knew it was time and got up, stretching and grabbing his rope. The two made their way to the lab and they both pressed themselves against the door, they didn't hear anything.

With a nod to each other, Hoseok punched in the password and they stepped in. It was terrible, a splash of blood was on the bars of the wolf and the fox was balled up. They ran to the creatures, both of them perking their heads up and wagging their tails seeing their humans.

'H-Hoseok...they hurt us...they actually put drugs into us...'

The wolf sounded in pain when speaking to his human, the fox not speaking a word to Jimin.

"We're getting you outta here," Hoseok said and pulled the bar on the cage for the wolf. Jimin did the same for the fox, the snow white creature looked and jumped into his arms the moment he could whimpering. The wolf stumbled out it's cage, licking it's paws and nuzzling to Hoseok's leg. 

Something broke in the lab, the four hiding away behind a big desk. One of the staff members was still in there. 

"Shit....it's mixing...." the staff member said as he scrambled around and more glass was shattering along the floor. "SHIT NOT THAT!! BOSS!!!" The member ran out and Hoseok looked up, seeing some white smoke coming up from the mixed chemicals. He tried to get up but the wolf bit his shirt dragging him back down.

More people rushed into the lab, panting and trying to fix the mess. 

"Sir! We have another breakage in the lab next door!!" another staff member called out from behind the door. Jimin was getting worried, holding the fox close to him.

"Try and mix this into it, it should cancel it," their father said and another shattering filled the room. "No not that one!!! That''ll make it worse!!!"

An explosion went off in the lab next door, shaking the room the brothers were in. Jimin had to bite his tongue to make a sound while Hoseok pressed his face into the wolf's fur.

"We need our children out!!! Seungri find them and take them to the surface!!" their mother yelled and the man left. Fire had now started in the mix on the floor, catching the paper on the sides.

'Jimin, you need to get out or you won't survive.'

Jimin looked down to his friend at it looked up in concern. He didn't need to talk to Hoseok as the wolf had already done it . They tried to get up, but another person running in stopped them. "I can't find them, they're not in their room!!" Seungri screamed and their mother panicked, letting out some sort of noise.

A rumbling sound echoed the halls of the lab, the animals knew that even if their humans ran now. They wouldn't make it.

The wolf pulled Hoseok down and laid on him, while the fox tried to cover his human with it's small body. "W-What are you doing?" Hoseok whispered as he struggled to get up.

'Please, stay still and there. I'm sorry.'

"Mr fox? What are you doing?" Jimin asked as he patted the fox's head.

'Protecting my human, Jim Jim I apologize for this....'

For some reason, Jimin started to cry hearing the fox and it's broken voice. He hugged it as is nuzzled into the human's neck. 

A hum was now in their room, and the humans tried to run out. "The door is locked!!!" one screamed and then Hoseok finally clicked on what was happening.

"We can't even...s-say goodbye to our children..." their mother cried as they heard a thud. She fell to her knees and covered her face as she started to bawl. Even their father was sniffling as the brother cuddled up to each other and the animals.

"I l-love you Hobi...." Jimin mumbled and held Hoseok's hand.

"I love you too Jimine," Hoseok mumbled as a bright red glow was now in the room.

It was fast, the explosion made it so that the boys didn't have to feel much as it wiping out all the people in that room. Combined with the other labs blowing up, the whole place lit up causing a slight earthquake on the planet.

Probably the saddest thing I have ever written, but tell me everyone. What do you think I have planned?
