The Party (Part 2)

Dan's pov:

"So Dan, maybe you'd want to go somewhere sometime. On a date, I mean." Laney was touching my arm a lot. I wasn't sure what to say. I guess I should give her a chace, I mean, Anthony did introduce me hoping we would hit it off. Maybe this will get everyone to stop worrying about me.

"Yeah that sounds great, maybe tomorrow?" I said.

She nodded her head and grabbed my arm. I looked down at it and saw that she had written her phone number.

"Give me call. I'll talk to you soon." She gave me a kiss on the cheek and then made her way towards her friends.

I was just standing there by myself so I decided to go look for Anthony.

I finally found him and walked towards him. He was talking to Ian and some other person I didn't know.

He was a pale boy with black hair and soft blue eyes. He was wearing a light blue shirt and black skinny jeans. He was actually kind of adorable.

Phil's POV:

"Hey Ian, hey Anthony" There he was. It was obvious he didn't know who I was because he kept looking at me. I finally realized he was waiting for me to introduce myself.

"Oh.. Hi I'm Phil." I said looking down a bit.

"Hi Phil my name is Dan." I looked up and he gave me a warm smile. His eyes were so beautiful. They were glimmering.

Ian and Anthony had to go so Dan and I were both left talking. I thought it was going to be awkward but so far it was actually a nice conversation.

"So Dan, what are your plans for Christmas?"

"Oh.. Well I'm not really sure. Usually Chris, PJ, and I throw a party."

"Oh. That sounds nice." We both stood there for a little bit finding out that we had run out of things to say.

"Would you... Uh.... Would you maybe want to come to the Christmas party?" He said looking down. Was he blushing? Did Dan like me?

"Oh. Yeah that sounds great actually." I also looked away so he couldn't see me blush. Im not really sure what Dan is thinking. He probably is just being friendly. Afterall, I did see him talking to that Laney girl and she seemed to really like him. I shouldn't get my hopes too high.

"Dan!" Chris said walking over. "PJ and I are ready to leave do you want a ride?" He said not even noticing I was there.

"Uh.. Yeah sure." Dan said looking over at me as if he wanted my approval.

Chris followed his gaze and saw me standing there.

"Oh hello Phil! Nice to see you and Dan have met already. I knew you two would get along!" He was smiling and gave me a wink.

"So Phil we should hang out again soon. Do you have a cell phone?"

I nodded and pulled my phone out of my pocket. We exchanged numbers and Dan left the party.

I would see him again.
