Lizzie's P.O.V [unedited]

I was freaking the fuck out. I almost had a panic attack but Thomas has calmed me down a bit. Now, we were sitting outside while he tried to make it sound less awful than it really was.
"She's not some crazy woman that will kill any girl that gets near me. She's really sweet and I doubt you two will have any problems." Thomas said while rubbing his thumb over my hand that he was holding.

"Why did you two break up?" I asked quietly.

"We were just going different places, drifting apart. We're just different people."

"Come on, Liz! We gotta get to the mall!" Kaya yelled.

************

We were sitting in the food court waiting on Isabella. My anxiety was an annoying reminder that I could break down in a panic attack at any moment. I jumped when Kaya put her hand on my shoulder.
"Relax, she won't do anything rude." She gave me a reassuring smile and looked at something behind me, her smile grew to a grin. "Izzy! Over here!" Kaya yelled to a short girl with light red hair bouncing behind her as she ran over to us.

"Hey! Sorry I'm late, had to go by the bank to blow my money on us. And I brought a friend, if that's okay?" Her voice was soft and sweet. Up close, she was stunning, her hair shined in the light and her eyes were bright and sharp against her pale, flawless skin. No wonder Thomas liked her. I didn't noticed Kaya saying yes to her or them starring at me for an answer until Kaya elbowed me in the ribs.

"Y-yeah. That's cool." I said quetly and looked down to hide my embaressment. Isabelle smiled her perfect whites.

"You must be Lizzie. I'm Isabelle. It's great to meet you!" She shook my hand and said she was going to get some coffee.

"Stop being nervious. See, she's nice! You have nothing to worry about." Kaya gave me a reasuring smile, which I returned in a closed-mouthed small upturn of my lips, if you can call that a smile. You can't tell a person with severe anxiety not to be nervious, and you can't tell a current girlfriend they have nothing to worry about with an ex.

Isabelle come back with a girl behind her. "Guys, this is my friend Faith. Faith, this is Kaya and Lizzie." Faith was quite short with straight red hair that went past her shoulders. Her skin was almost white and her big eyes were bright green surrounded by black eyeliner. She smirked at me and I mumbled a small 'hi.'" We left the food court and walked around untill we found a store called Forever 21. I was trying my best to avoide Isabelle but while I was looking through some sweaters, she walked up next to me.

"You really don't have to be scared of me, I'm not some crazy ex," She laughed "Thomas and I left it on good terms. We were just going different places and we weren't right for each other. It was mutual." She smiled sweetly and me and I honestly felt a bit better.

"So, why are you in Louisianna?" I asked and started going through the shirts again.

"While Thomas and I were together, Kaya and I got really close. She always drags me along with her." She laughed again and I smiled at her.

"You guys bonding over Thomas?" Faith come up to us and said his name with a fake fondness. "We're just talking." Isabelle said.

"Izzy! You have to see this dress!" Kaya yelled and Isabelle went to go see. Faith took her place beside me. "So, Thomas? How'd that happen?"

"Well, we met through some messed up thing that happened and he kinda took me under his wing. He took care of me and brought me to set and we just really get along. And then we developed feelings for each other and it just... happened. He's really sweet." I smiled as I thought of him.

"But, you don't actually like him, right? It's just publicity." She talked casually, like she wasn't being incredibly rude right now.

"No, I really like him. I mean we just got together but I think it's going really well. I enjoy being with him a lot."

"So are you like Bi sexual?" I was totally taken aback by her question, but she didn't even look up from the shirt she was looking at.

"Um, I don't like to label myself, but I don't really have a prefrence. I like people for their personalitys."

"Oh, I'm not pretty enought for you?" She said it jokingly but her eyes were intimidating, no humor at all. We just stared at each other for a minute, me shocked, her... I don't really know what she's up to but Kaya and Isabelle come over before I could answer her.

************************

After about four hours of running around the mall and trying on countless clothes, I was finally at Thomas's before I went back to my place. I was sitting at his small dinning table as he finished making us dinner. He set a plate of pasta and bread in front of me and sat down at the other end of the table.

"So, how was it?" He asked as he placed a napkin on his lap.

"Not as bad as I thought it would be. Isabelle was really nice. We tried on a bunch of clothes, which was exhausting, but I got a lot of cute things." He nodded his head and smiled at me. He is so flipping cute with that smile.

"How was your anxiety?" I took a deep breath. Why did he care so much? It was a weird feeling, someone actually caring about that. "No panic-attack. But with all the people, I did have to step away a few times. Isabelle brought this friend with her - faith - and she was a bit rude and creepy, but nothing I can't handle." He reached across the table and grabbed my hand, rubbing his thumb over the top of it. Coversation came easily between us for the rest of dinner.

"It's getting pretty late, I should head home." I looked up at Thomas who had his arm around me on the couch.

"You could just stay here. You don't have to leave." He pouted and I poked his cute little nose.

"I've stayed here long enough, I don't want to bother you anymore. Plus, I miss my house. I left my stuffed piplup there and sleeping just hasn't been the same without it." I got up from the couch, Thomas following me with a groan. Baby.

"Okay. But, call me when you get there?" I nodded my head and hugged him, breathing in his sweet scent. I got in my car and drove to my little house. There weren't any cars on the road except one that was driving a little ways behind me.

When I got home, I took a shower and changed into some Pjs getting ready to watch a bit T.V and call Thomas when my power shut off. I turned the flashlight on my phone on and walked to my my window, all the other houses had power, that's weird. My anxeity flared up as my brain went straight to worse-case. Calm down, Lizzie. I thought, You probably just forgot to pay the power bill.

I turned to get my laptop but stopped in my tracks as I saw a figure in the hallway with a bat. Faith. Before I could do anything, something hit my head and everything went black.
